why is it 12?

i thought it was 15, I was signing wallace tmac and brand as my 3 inactives....

if i can waive those 3 and still take the cap hit i will thats for sure.

so im not left with

9 roster spots

ugly indeed

just had an idea

so that its easier to keep track then everytime someone makes a bid on a person they have to list all their bids that are winnig/they think are still winning but may have changed in the last half an hour.

like

right now if I were to bid I would say

James Lang 500k

then post

Current Roster and FA Bids
Steve Nash $12,500,000
LeBron James $14,500,000
David Lee $2,000,000
Andrew Bogut $6,500,000
Anderson Varejao $6,000,000
Phil Jackson - $6,000,000
Clifford Ray - $2,000,000
Mike Budenholzer - $2,000,000
$51,500,000
FA Bids
Ray Allen $18,500,000
Big Z 10,500,000
Zach Randolph $1,000,000
Baron Davis $1,000,000
Elton Brand 1,000,000
Ben Wallace 1,000,000
Tracy Mcgrady 500,000
12 players and 3 coaches @ = 84,000,000 < 94.75

Hey, what does final offers mean? Is it just that an offer becomes final after 24 hours if it isn't outbid?

CellarDoor

am i going to be allowed to waive Ben Wallace, Elton Brand and Tracy Mcgrady and still take their cap hit?

if not then theres no point in me continuing the game, since the rosters are set at 12 and i thought it was 15.

Mascot- from the wording it seems like you're allowed to drop them with no cap hit even.

As an aside: do you guys REALLY anticipate needing more than 9 guys in most series? It's a 12 team league, you should be able to find yourself a very nice 8-10 man rotation.

BCortell, I am trying to remember the damn password now, if I can figure it out I will reply to the email.

thanks

Ill wait till i have them "signed" before i release them in this thread then. And I think ill take the cap hit as a penalty for it, only seems "fair" even though i thought we were having 15 players and a full team. Its only 2.5 million anyways.

that should be soon since it was said to be a 24 hour waiting period

spoke with shaqsux last night. sorry if it wasn't clear but all those offers u took back last night are over and done with. there is no penalty or need to go through some ridiculous signing and cutting process.

no, i won't do that. i guess people can go an claim their players in shaqsux's absence. bness just did that with magz, makes sense really. who better to keep track of offers than the people with offers in?

He was Injured Before you picked him so therefore I would think that he is Injured in the game.

If you picked KG before he was injured then he is NOT injured in this game.

this seems to be the way of thinking I think.

since the severity of sjax's injury was not revealed until today u can withdraw your offer without punishment. sjax won't be considered a healthy player since he was hurt before the start of the free agency period. this game isn't to screw people over, and thats kinda what i think would happen here if u were forced to keep him. from now on though, PLEASE, monitor injuries. no more freebies!

cellar/shaqsux, i'm only deciding this since final offers are close to expiring and players need to know what capspace they have. don't want to be making rules and competing at the same time.
