Miller, O'Neal, McGrady, and Reggie woulda been a great core, but no PG.

We could have gotten any pg late in the draft to go with that line up and win a lot of games. I agree that Artest was better than Tmac at the time, too bad we didn't do some kinda trade for Artest, Bender and Tinsley outta those three guys we got Peja who as we know turned into Al Harrington who we had in the first place!

...and if we wouldn't have had Artest, the Indiana Pacers would've remained in Indiana forever and ever.

You have Reggie Miller twice on the...oh, oh. I see what you did. Never mind.

How can you forget Brad Miller? Man, he is one of my all time favorite Pacers, I miss him and Fred Jones.

I think Bender could've been a pretty good player, but not the star some people act like he'd be. He had nowhere near the toughness or awareness that someone like a Garnett has, but in terms of oozing physical ability, you'd be hard-pressed to find someone as talented. He did look lost on the court, but I think a lot of that was that he was actually never on the court consistently.

Wow, good stuff guys.. The main reason I asked was because I was going through some of my stuff from some years ago, and I came across a box that had some signed cards, photos and tickets in it, and I found one from November of '99 signed by Bender and Rose... And I was lucky enough to get one of those Reggie Miller finger bands with his #31 stitched into it as well that night...

I completely forgot about Bender, but quickly remembered the hype surrounding him back then when I saw the stuff, and just wanted to get some perspective on it...

I think he was a little better than Carney.
