Wasn't it Martin who left that dude open? I couldn't really tell with all the tears in my eyes.

No, it was because Noc and Cisco were doubling West, I think it was either Cisco or his fault on this one.

Re: Hornets @ Kings
I couldn't see what happened exactly on the last play because f***ing Arco didn't seem to think it was necessary to show a replay because nobody at the game gives a s**t about actually looking at the game and seeing what happens. That actually made me more furious than anything.
Anyway, I would blame this loss mostly on the rebounding because it was just so avoidable. There just isn't any excuse to be playing that much small ball.
Edit: Just watched the replay of the last play. It was Noc's fault. Cisco got screened by the guy Noc was guarding and seemed to be communicating to Noc to switch, and he just didn't until it was way too late. Cisco seemed quite pissed at him about it.

Ah I see. It's heartbreaking all the same.
I also agree that all the small ball and the subsequent lack of rebounding is what killed us. What is up with Natt's small ball obsession?

Cisco was mad because he did what he was supposed to do. In the post-game interview, Natt said he instructed the players to keep switching before the ball was inbounded. Noc didn't and doubled up on West, leaving Butler open.

Yeah, that's what I was saying, or at least trying to say.

whats up with the hands on personal attack??? If you cant compute a level of frustration in someones post due to a horrid game by both players, then i really suggest you take the time to address that about yourself and retain your comments.

Regardless of any frustration. JT is a better player than Conley who is a year ahead of him, and Greene obviously has a ways to go, but its way to early to give up on him.
GAAAD......OOOKAAYYY
Sometimes you just have to look yourself in the mirror and say....Tyreke Evans.
That just happened.

...my post was merely directed to the horrid game they both had and the level of frustration i had was a "trade these guys for anything" attitude, due to the terrible gamethey had. IT WAS NOT SERIOUS! Gees my goodness. No harm no Foul. It was just frustrated tallk. So can we please just get back to the love we all share forour beloved Kings please??!

Re: Hornets @ Kings
I really didn't think that trade idea is all that bad (except thinking we need to throw Donte in too). JT is not a superstar, and neither is Conley. JT is a year and a half older than Conley and not "years behind him". IMO we would need to get a little bit more out of the trade, but it would be along the lines of a trade we make if we luck out and get the opportunity to draft Griffin. i think if someone said:
Conley + Buckner+ 2009 1st round pick (4-8 range)
for
Thompson + Beno + Houston pick 09' (23-28) and 2nd round pick(33+/-)
we would have to consider. This would give us a lineup of:
C. Hawes/ Griffin/ FA Filler
PF. Griffin/ Nocioni/ Donte/ FA Filler
SF. Nocioni/ Garcia/ Donte
SG. Martin/ McCants
PG. Conley/ Jennings
Good 8-9 man rotation. That is a winnable team with an insanely bright future. I guess what Im saying is that I am not opposed to making this trade, but certain other things need to happen to have this a possibility.

im all for getting 2 lottery picks to get griffin and jennings ( my 2 favorite prospects), but i doubt that the grizz would give up all that for thompson unless they have more faith in beno than i do. the way i see it is even if jennings is super streaky, hes still going to be better than beno and more flashy.

Re: Hornets @ Kings
Conley/Jennings combo is a pretty interesting scenero. Certainly better than where we are atm.
IMO tho, Conley has just been somewhat dissapointing so far. I know this is only his second year & he is still pretty young, but I thought he'd make more of a impact than he has so far. I really liked him in college.

Re: Hornets @ Kings
yea i agree...its not sweet at all for memphis to pull the trigger on that kind of deal.
But i agree with the notion that JT is nothing special and would never become an allstar caliber PF

ehh....we don't typically consider something like this a "personal attack" since it can be considered as a comment about your opinion. I agree that there was probably a better way to post the disagreement, but I wouldn't take it as "personal".
Now, with that out of the way, I think you're really overreacting with your original comment. If you had such high expectations of Greene to be this disappointed in an ineffective performance for 11 minutes, then you need to take a hard look at how realistic your expectations were. He's a rookie with maturity issues who will be a bit of a project. Expecting anything other than inconsistency and mistakes for the next couple of years is somewhat foolish. I think back to Gerald Wallace. When he was here he had serious issues with his work ethic, maturity level and consistency. It took him a few years to grow up turn into a key guy for the B-cats. Give Greene time to grow up. He's already shown signs of the types of skills he has. The next thing he needs is the maturity to make those skills work in the NBA.
As for Thompson...he just got abused by a very good player. Once again, though, Thompson is young and still has a lot to learn about the NBA game. Over all he's had a very good rookie season. But it is again foolish to not expect him to make mistakes and have bad nights against superior competition.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.
