OT:Anyone else Notice the INCREDIBLE...

Post#1 » by MaxwellSmart » Wed Apr 1, 2009 5:00 am

LACK of Horrible calls against the Celtics LATELY?.....I mean, now that we Absolutely CANNOT catch the Lakers or Cavs in the HCA race?......All year long we had them---and NOW, the refs are pretty darn good.

just asking.

of course it's obvious
it's all political. To recognize that is 'not' to believe in some conspiracy.

Undoubtedly, many powerful interests want LeBron to win a title. Of course countless others want the Lakers out of the West again. Sure, just as many want a Celtics-Lakers rematch

Just forget all of it. When it comes down to it, it still is the game of basketball and one team wins. The Celtics can always win any basketball game, just because of how good they are. political factors outside the control of our players (refs, etc.) aren't going to lose an entire series. Those are excuses. ultimately, if the Celtics can win the title, they will.

Eh, it's the end of a long season...they're saving it up for the playoffs...

Mark my words, we will lose at least 2 *CRITICAL* playoff games due to horrid officiating...count on it...
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

YES before this season I would be the last one to blame the refs but Im having a hard time not doing that this season. After the 6 players on the floor in Por I just cant stand the refs.

I'm sure the playoffs will bring out the "best" in the refs-----but, I was referring to the past 5-8 games...Just look at the last game...Bennett Salvatore was the ref---and you didn't even notice unless you looked really hard.

^Like I said, though, it was a relatively meaningless game against a crap team at the end of a long season. We *will* get jobbed to the tune of 1-2 games lost due to officiating in the playoffs...bank on it...

I'm with you, Tricky Ricky. And that last Cavs game, that the Celtics amazingly won despite the fishy reffing--I also just can't stand the refs. Arrogant, no-skilled pieces of ****.

2-way street. By insinuating that there's a conspiracy to prevent us from winning a title should also mean that there was a conspiracy to have us win the title last year.

I firmly believe that the Donaghy scandal scared them straight to a certain extent in the finals.
