I think the fact that he played PG will only help his draft stock, it proves that he's a very versatile player and a quick learner.

That and his last game he played as a Tiger when he took on the scoring load to fight back against an inevitable deficit to Mizzou. If Evans plays his cards right in the draft workouts, he may gaurantee himself to be in the top ten in the draft.

I agree about Danny Green looking like Spurs material in general, but I'd like to point out why he might not be the best fit in the current situation.
-size!
he is listed 6'6'', but as often this is quite generous. he was measured 6'4.5'' without shoes in the 2008 pre draft camp. at 6'10'' his wingspan is nice, not so much his standing reach. (8'4.5''). what I try to say, this are nice numbers for a guard, not so much for a SF, especially when your need is a "long" SF, who can play some combo forward.
-Malik Hairston!
Green is pretty much the same size like Malik, but Malik is either the better athlete and stronger. I can't see both on the Spurs roster, so I would go with Malik, who I think still has a lot of upside.
-James Gist
Gist does pretty well in Italy this season. his long range shot looks improved. (not so much his ball handling though). I still would love to see him at the Spurs roster next season in a Trevor Ariza / Travis Outlaw role.
between Gist and Hairston I don't see room for another rookie wing.

who do they pick?
considering they might have Hill, Hairston and Gist on the roster next season, there is a good chance that this year they go the international route again and pick players to stash in Europe for two or 3 years. my favorites from this class are Llull and Dasic.
Dasic would even fill one of the current needs and might be brought in earlier. fantastic size and athleticism for a Euro guy, best case could be a Vlad Radmanovic with defense.

from the college guys I would go with Jeff Pendergraph, who should be on the board, when the Spurs pick. he's a great guy, hard worker, smart and matured. he would be able to help immediately IMO, even if his upside isn't that spectacular. he could develop into a highly effective role player, exactly what Pop loves. his nice mid range jumper would be another reason, why he might fit great into the Spurs system.
