Note: Azibuike is back in the FA pool with no bid, Brewer's 8m bid should be finalized 24 hours from when Vintage rescinded his.

Wade is basically Ben Gordon without the 3-point shooting. Sure, he's been a pretty good defender this year, so that would upgrade, but I'd rather have Gordon because he's cheaper and can hit those threes

Wow, had forgotten i placed a bid for JR Smith, and since it's been 24 hours, i'll claim him for $2.5m.

I forgot I had an offer of $5.5mil in for Miller that no one had bested. I'll take that offer and run, welcoming Miller to my team.

That was actually Vintage claiming him. He bid 8.5m in the post directly following your 8m bid, and the 24 hours elapsed before I set the moratorium.

IMO, if you don't claim a player, and someone bids higher, especially since it's been almost 22 hours since i posted my bid, there should be some kind of ruling. I understand the 24 hour rule, I just think it's a bit odd a player would take less money because one offer is a few hours late, even though the team he signed the "offer sheet" on took so long to get back to him.

EDIT: I fully understand, that by the rules, he has the right to claim Brewer, I'm just curious if anyone else agrees with my thinking.

You are correct. Vintage is SOL on Brewer and he is yours.

SOL = **** out of luck. And Shaq can rule on this if he feels differently, i'm completely fine with either way, and I agree in principle, except that there isn't anything explicit in the rules that says they need to be claimed. If they player has a contract in their possession and the team hasn't held a press conference yet, that players contract is still valid.
