Carney says he wants to stay a wolf.

"I'd rather stay here than anywhere else," he said on a night when the Wolves trailed by 20 points before halftime and by as many as 26 after it. "I feel comfortable here."

He probably enjoys those K-Love outlet passes just as much as we do. :)

I love the guy. Once his shot gets more consistent, he'll be a great asset to have.

I like, but he's probably going to have to go.

Foye/Brewer/Miller/Gomes plus one or two draft picks is too many wings as it is. If we can maintain a roster spot and he's willing to sign for under $2 million/year then fine.

Jim Stack's interview last week in the Pioneer Press - he essentially said they have a lot of nice complimentary pieces, but this off-season are looking at guard, athletic wing, and center as places to find upgrades. Carney is an athletic wing, so at best the Wolves front office consider him a nice complimentary piece. Like Dr. Krap says, they might run out of roster spots for nice complimentary pieces.

Bring Carney back!!!

He gives us at least a few dunks to be euphoric about when we're losing ^^

I like him.

I like him as a bench guy, I wish he was a little more lethal of a defender. Then he'd be the perfect glue guy.

If he was a lethal defender he'd be Bruce Bowen with dunkability.

not perpetually lethal, just maybe like 15-17% more lethal than he is right now. Not Bowen level, I don't want to get greedy, but Trevor Ariza-ish

too bad he is this years Kirk Snyder. We like the play, but he is gone at the end of the year. Which is sad, I would like to see Gomes/Miller/Brewer/Carney as a rotation there.

They are very different players. Carney is more of a 2 that cannot dribble. He has tools but is inconsistent and thus sporadic. Carney's best assets are his 3pt shot and his dunking. He runs the break well and is an above avg wing defender.

Ariza is one of the most underrated players right now. A very good defender. Almost excellent rebounder for a 3. His jumper is almost broke and he is limited offensively. He is a battier guy in the way that a team simply gets better when he is playing. I fully expect him to get on a team with some good scores and improve them a bunch. Ariza is also a very smart player and does many of those cliche lil things.
