But we didn't move back, which we should have, we moved in front of Seattle.

You're jolly lately. :-)

We moved ahead of OKC, but Chicago moved ahead of us. Last time I checked when you add 1, and then subtract 1, the number is zero.

Trust me. I'm a Dr.

I don't think OKC was OKC yet, they were still Seattle. :-)

The next result is 0, yes, but we actually moved up ahead of someone, so we moved up.

Moved ahead of someone, but moved behind someone else (Chicago). Regardless, I was happy we received a top three pick last year since I am more accustom to the team moving down if anything.

In regards to next season, I don't feel it is the make or break year. Their is cap space there, but the true clearing will be the season after with the huge free agent market. That season, to me, is the make or break one. MN better have set in motion the final stages of their plan or be at the end of it and rolling with the team they wish for many years. I do not think they are quite in position to make those final plan efforts this year, especially given the injuries and recoveries of key pieces.

Two years is when we should see the results, if none to be found, then I would be upset.

Assuming no ties:
If the Wolves finish 4th, they've got an 11.9% shot at 1st, a 12.6% shot at 2nd, a 13.3% shot at 3rd, a 9.9% shot at 4th, a 35.1% shot at 5th, a 16.0% shot at 5th, and a 1.2% shot at 7th.
If they finish 5th, they've got an 8.8% shot at 1st, 9.7% at 2nd, 10.7% at 3rd, 261.% at 5th, 36.0% at 6th, 8.4% at 7th, and 0.4% at 8th.
If they finish 6th, they've got a 6.3% shot at 1st, 7.1% at 2nd, 8.1% at 3rd, 43.9% at 6th, 30.5% at 7th, 4.0% at 8th, and 0.1% at 9th.

Stack said our needs to address in the draft are a big man compliment and a dynamic SF. He also talked about packaging picks for a vet if needed. Last, he says BPA over need.

:x I like AFA but if we dont come out of this draft with one of the top guards (Rubio/Harden/Evans) im going to be livid. Thabeet would be stupid with Peks coming over soon *allegedly*. Unless they intend on using Peks as bait of some sort.

Was on KSTC-45 halftime interview

Maybe we are targeting a vet PG via trade?

I'll be so flippin' disappointed if we give up anything of even slight significance for Hinrich. We should be in all out stockpile mode right now, not go out trade for a slightly above average PG that can't get Jefferson and Love easy looks by getting to the rim mode.
"A while back,'' Cardinal said, "I took a picture of the standings and texted it to Love, just to bust his chops,'' Cardinal said. "He sent me a picture back of a snowdrift.''

I'd trade Miller for Hinrich

what can I say, I'm attracted to Hinrich's metrics

Sweet draft for the Wolves on the latest DX update:
5. Harden
18. Teague
28. Collison
2nd round: Josh Heytvelt, Dante Cunningham

it also now features Ricky Rubio as the number 2 pick
Thriving on mediocrity since '89.

DX has us taking teague and Collison?

DX FINALLY HAS RUBIO IN THE MOCK!!!!! I THINK I SHED A TEAR/....

Harden needs to be taller than Mayo for him to be on the board. Simple as that. If Harden puts up something like a 34" standing and 39" max vert and turns some heads at the predraft combine while measuresing out at around 6'4 1/2" without and 6'5 1/2" with shoes with a nice, long wing span of around 7'0" and standing reach of around 8'8" then I grab him and I am happy. Perhaps he could even start with Foye?
Based on who is available on the 18th I do not see us taking Teague over Maynor or Holiday as a pg prospect, or BJ Mullens as a value prospect.

Collison makes little sense with the 28th unless we went Harden/Mullens. Then I could buy it. Otherwise why not a gamble on Summers or Casspi? We do not even grab Casspi with our 2nd.

btw, for those talking about shrinks 10th for 18+28 the players available at 10 that are not available at 18 are...
Curry, Clark, Lawson, Henderson, Williams, Flynn, Johnson, and AFA.

Interesting how we talk about the 2nd rd having so much value last year. There are some very interesting prospects considered 2nd rd talent right now

-AJ Price
-Danny Green (*I think he is going to stick. hard working defender with solid NBA body and good catch-shoot ability--Raja Bell?)
-Jerel McNeil--very good defender and shooter, got injuried but looked nice before that.
-Omri Casspi---I think I have only mentioned him a handful of times now. :D
-D. Summers (*for a while a mid-first rd prospect)
-D.James (tx edition) reminds me of Desmond Mason.
-P.Mills (*not a bad pg prospect--could stash down under)
-Henk Norel---(I admit, I only know of him from my Rubio stalking, but he looks like a poor Robin Lopez to me. Really works his ass off. if he can add strength he could be a decent bench player. Not a bad stash concept)

Not a bad group.

Summers is now considered a 2nd round pick? How quickly things change.

Heytvelt as well
"That's why the last two years weren't guaranteed," Walsh said. "Either way, he knew it could have happened either way."
