And he does finish most of the time around the rim. Thats why he's like what, 2nd in field goal percentage
Nene never been a player getting a bunch of rebounds. He does it sometimes, sometimes he doesnt
He has plenty of moments every game where had he just maintained balance instead of fading away from the rim, he could be #1 in FG% still. I'm just saying that goal is not too far out of sight if only Nene maximizes all of his opportunities. Right.....no player other than Shaq has been better, but if you look at a lot of big men - the dunks they do get are not by fading (if that happens, ever). In fact I don't think I've ever seen Shaq try to fade away from the rim when he's got position.
And Nene kept at it and had success eventually. There just shouldn't be a single wasted opportunity he should go up strong every time.
