We have some new Mods starting today and if you follow the Raptors board, you know who they are already (Both are well respected posters).

Alfred and YogiStewart are both joining the Jays board as first time Mods!

Welcome aboard Alfred and YogiStewart, I have no doubt, you'll both provide some knowledge, discussion, and keep the board under the control, joining a great mod staff.

If you two have any questions feel free to message me or another Jays mod, we’ll be sure to help you out.

Please join me in welcoming the two new guys.

Hello everyone! While I may not be the biggest Jays fan, I watched approximately 50% of the games last season, so I'm not a total Jays noob. I hope to help keep you crazy guys under control! I hear it's a madhouse down here, so I'll be sure to be extra vigilant in deleting posts and banning users

I'm thinking of this job as a learning experience. Many of you probably know far more than I do, so I'll be sure to ask plenty of questions, and try to expand my own knowledge of the sport!

no, i don't think any posts are being deleted...

the problem is that RealGM has a base of basketball fans. You have fans who are basketball fans first, then followed by {hockey, baseball, football, etc}. I highly doubt (thus far) that a pure baseball fan registered an account to only view the blue jays board. It would have to be someone who likes the Raptors, and then the Blue Jays...

I have a recommendation: Mods, remember BEFORE the switch to this new version of the User Interface? I recall there was a direct link at the top of the Raptors board that linked to the Off-Topic Canada board, and there *might have* been one for the Blue Jays also (I don't recall). Why don't we do that for Blue Jays? It'll be very easy access, and it's the start of the season, so there might be some interest... I think many posters forget that there even is a Blue Jays board.

Exactly. The Raptors Roll Call tallied upwards of 800 unique posters. There's gotta be more than 22 Jays fans (as per Jays Roll Call) withing that 800+.

And not only that, you're using RealGM to promote another RealGM product (using the Raps forum to promote the Jays forum).
