How about no steroid abusers, pot heads, or alcholics, period. Stay away from them all. The steroid abusers scare me the most. Evidently these guys who were taking them didn't feel they were good enough to compete legitimately so they cut corners to improve. Well, that's fine and dandy in college football, but there are no cutting corners in the NFL. Someone is still always going to be better than you. The pot heads don't bother me so much. Most are smart enough to stop smoking during and around the start of the season. Alcoholics on the other hand will be able to get wasted year round with little consequence. (Unless you're a neartard like Stallworth)

Every team in the NFL has players that use PEDs. Whether it's HGH or a kind of roids, it happens and there are ways to beat the tests. I'm not worried if someone is using PEDs, for the reasons above and because it's a performance issue, not a recreational one.

There aren't 'alcohol' tests that keep players out of games.

If you test positive for a recreational drug you're inserted into the NFL's drug program and are subjected to frequent random testing and if you get caught you're going to be missing significant time. I'm sure there are plenty of players that smoke weed and just haven't gotten caught. But taking one that has is a serious risk.
