It's looking like there's a good reason that you could forget about them.

Oh yeah, if I were in their position I'd be thrilled to hit the court too.

Why should it be about being "thrilled"? Shouldn't it be about taking advantage of the opportunity when you get it? That's how most guys that aren't handed minutes (the vast majority of players in the league) earn their keep and it's why those two will likely be out of the league soon.
Anyway, a pretty nice game offensively, and our young bigs in particular showed some great things. I still would like to see Spencer get to the line a lot more though. He wasn't even out on the perimeter a lot in this game. It's weird to see how Jason gets to the line so much more, but I couldn't even really explain why. I guess it's in part to do with his game being more predicated on face-up plays and the fact that when he gets an offensive board, he tends to go back up more aggressively whereas Spencer either re-sets or goes back up with a floater, trying to avoid contact.

Thabeet is playing right now. Dude is a non factor despite being bigger and more athletic than anyone else in the gym. How can you even say to draft him over Griffin?

I think its more like "Wow, we gave up like 200 points last night - we need some defense." And people associate Thabeet with defense and shot blocking. But, I agree and I will go a step further. I don't even want Thabeet at #4/#5. I just don't think he is going to be what everyone is cracking him up to be.

The only reason we draft Thabeet (3rd or 4th) is to trade him away to a team like the Heat for Beasley. I really dislike Thabeet, the same as Hibbert last year.

I would be happy to draft thabeet only because i think petrie would only get him with the rockets pick. I remember that deandre jordan was predicted to be a top 5 or 10 and on draft day fell to the second round. hopefully people start seeing he can be a huge bust and he drops

I would compare BJ Mullens to Jordan last year. No way Thabeet falls that far. BJ Mullens who came into the year as a top 3 pick could fall like Jordan and land in the 2nd round. Both athletic freaks with great size, but well underperformed there Freshman year.
Thabeet will not fall out of the top ten, he is too strong defensively. If Robin Lopez can be drafted in the end of the lottery due to his "defense", Thabeet will have no problem dropping in the top 8 of a weak draft. IMO its Griffin, Rubio, or trade.
