Re: Jazz vs T-Wolves
Someone please kill me now. I don't even care that Deron was fouled on the last play, these guys are playing like scrubs, and absolutely don't deserve to get to the playoffs. I'm sickened by the play of this team right now. It is so hard to be a Jazz fan right now, this team just isn't making any effort!
Something has GOT to change when this team is losing to scrubs at home. WOW!

Word is, South Beach is ecstatic that they
won't be seeing Millsaps talents again this season...

Re: Jazz vs T-Wolves
This team just doesnt care.
That is the bottom line. Deron was the only guy tonight that showed any life at all. Everyone else is just so indifferent out on the court. There is literally not one single player on this selfish team that is willing to play defense. We let Sebastian Telfair pick us apart in a game that we absolutely had to win. Its sickening.

Re: Jazz vs T-Wolves
It's a shame the jazz had to spoil Deron's performance, that was one of the better performances of the year
the killed us on the glass, that's the main reason we lost
we don't give up that offensive rebound to Carney we would win this game
Kirilenko had 1 rebound in 26 minutes of play, inexecusable

^ Oh, come on. 34-11 with 60% shooting and 2 turnovers. Why do you hate on Deron so much?

I think that's very possible.
Gomes is a SF-PF, and plays a lot of minutes for us at PF. He's not really big enough, but he's such a hard worker, he does OK. If MIN can get a center, that would shift Al to his natural PF spot, and Love would get all the rest of the minutes. We all like Gomes, and he has a decent contract, but I just think he might have more of a future on someone else's team.
It's starting to look like you guys might be keeping your Top 22-protected pick for 2009

Ok then. Give me a name, someone who would play in Utah, who wouldn't get burned against scrubs, someone who would lead a team, and who's a winner. Feel free to add attributes.

Dude its not like he was getting beat 1 on 1 they just run Deron around screen after screen because they know our big guys cannot defend the pick n roll, so while Deron works to get back Telfair was either getting all the way to the rim or kicking it out to either Gomes or Carney. It was not Derons fault, it was our team defense.

Re: Jazz vs T-Wolves
Bozell, your new name is Bozo because you have no idea what's going on.
Did Sebastian have a good night? Yes, but like Racer said it's not like they are isolating Telfair and having him go to work on Deron, in fact you probably won't ever see a team do that against Deron. They just run Deron off of the defender on screen and rolls, forcing Memo and Boozer to rotate over which they have a complete inability to do and from there Telfair is free to do whatever he likes.

Re: Jazz vs T-Wolves
You can call me names all you want, and you can make excuse after excuse for Deron, but at some point he bears SOME responsibility. Denver didnt run the pick and roll with Carter, yet he went off on Deron also....what was the excuse then?
After a while your blind loyalty is amusing.

Re: Jazz vs T-Wolves
Anthony Carter went 4-6 in probably his best shooting night of the season. He hit a couple of jumpers that he usually doesn't make, and got a couple of fast break opportunities.
Your idea tht he went off on Deron is absurd, you don't know what you are talking about.

Carter has actually played decent ball for Denver this season, when he went down for 3-4 games, we went on a slump. He plays solid D and his assist to turn over ratio is excellent for a back up pg. I know Denver fans hate one him, and I used to do it myself; the result of this has given him a bad rep amongst fans. However, he fits his new role after the Billups trade fairly well. His mistakes are still some of the ugliest in the league and hard not to laugh at, but for the most part, he does do more good then harm for his team. DWill isn't the only guy that has had a challenge on his hands while going against AC this season.

lol, who is this guy? Is he seriously blaming the only player on the team who is showing at least an ounce of heart?
That is plain ridiculous. I'm sorry, but wow. Just wow.

So our blind royalty is somehow worse than your apparent blind hatred for DWill? Can't have it both ways man. You are just a special kinda guy I guess...

Stupid England.
P.S. I'm one of the few Jazz fans NOT freaking out over this loss.
Losing to Denver was much more significant, and I believe it relieved us of our wind in the sails.
Second round will be a success for this team this year. They won't go beyond that, for sure. Most likely, we're a first round exit this year.
I look forward to the "blow up the team and start over" threads.
