Tight End

Post#1 » by freakon0mics » Fri Sep 7, 2007 5:46 pm

I"m wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a backup tight end. I have Kellen Winslow as my starting TE but I could use a backup to put on bench just in case he gets injured or to have someone in place for him when he has a bye week. Here are the guys that are taken: Antonio Gates, Todd Heap, Tony Gonzalez, Chris Cooley, Shockey, Vernon Davis, Crumpler, Witten, LJ Smith, Benjamin Watson, Dallas CLark, Heath Miller, Randy McMichael and Owen Daniels.

If your just looking for a backup you can look at guys like Scheffler (DEN), Eric Johnson (NO), Pollard (SEA), Clark and Olsen (CHI). All of those guys could be a decent backup, but a low-tier TE can usually be picked up for your bye weeks because other than the top guys its not a very high point position.
