Ummm.... Hill has one of the smoothest mid-range jumpers I have ever seen.

If he went to play for the Spurs or Lakers.... (deep breath) I would actually root for them to win.

Only time that WOULD EVER happen in my life.

Thing is I think that Hill is the kind of guy that wants to lead a team to the championship or not go at all. He's lived the kind of life both on and off the court to where he doesn't have to validate it by being a 10-15 min scrub on LA's bench.... sitting next to Vujacic... I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

But I do remember him saying that he will retire a Sun. If the Suns keep Nash and O'Neal, he'll stay.

If he became a Spur or Laker I'd hate him begrudgingly.

I gotta admit, I don't watch a lot of Suns games (I'm not a Suns fan), but I gotta say that Grant Hill looks really sharp on the court when I do watch a Pheonix game (like I'm doing right now, and hoping you guys beat Dallas). The way he slashes to the rim is very reminiscent of his younger days, and his midranger is damn solid. I'm not sure how long he can last, but he's a great addition to the Suns lineup. Let's hope he plays well till retirement.

With his mid-range craft, guile and his J, he'll be fine as long as he wants to be. I want him to go to the Spurs... win a title with the Grumpy Old Men.

I just threw up a little in my mouth....................

But having said that I would still get multiple Hill jerseys as a Spur............I would just have to hide them.

Or, you know, the Lakers. Or the Magic.

That'd be awesome, playing 30 mpg off the bench for the Magic as backup PG and SF.

Don't think he would go to the Spurs, since I think the Spurs just don't have it anymore. With Manu done for the season, they can only get so far in the playoffs before they run out of gas. Next season their vets will just be one year older and it certainly doesn't help when one of your 3 stars is so injury-prone.

If he was to leave he would go to a place he's has a history with. I'd say he'd go back to the Magic. If he can't finish his career a Sun, I'd like him to finish his career a champion on the team that invested so much into him but he wasn't able to deliver because of injuries. I'd think it'll be a nice ending.

Return to Phoenix Suns
