I think we need to get the Denver GM. He is from your hometown too, so that's a plus.

it depends what the Pistons do with the expirings.

they'll probably overpay Boozer's injury ass so they'll be stuck with him like Philly are stuck with Brand, and we are stuck with Kmart.

i think we need to all follow through with the idea of sending joe dumars a thank you card. that'd be classic.

Seriously. Joe Dumars deserves executive of the year for the job he did with the Nuggets.

+1

Also slightly OT, I laughed when I heard Chuck saying Eddie Jordan should get coach of the year for managing to get out of Washington

I really find it funny for Dice. Could either be on the second best team in the west, or a struggling pistons team who will probably be an easy first round exit.

In seriousness, our front office should be a leading candidate for executive of the year, Im just not sure who would actually be accepting that if we were given it.

I was just thinking about that. Dice is a fool. He could have made a big difference for us too.

Agreed. When you think about the piece we've been missing too, it's a vet big with a midrange game and decent rebounding....he would have fit that perfectly. Oh well.

And he paid 3 million to go a **** situation....I'm loving it.

Some people just like to pay millions of dollars to air an opinion. Oh well. All we can say is Chauncey did want him to stay over here.

It would be even crazier if AI accepted a bench role and Ginobli/6th man role.

i believe iverson would except a bench role and the mle in denver...as long as that bench role had him playing 27-35(depending on how he's playing)mins a game.iverson is a easy target for negative reports and his complains were taken out of context.he complained about playing 18mins a game off the bench and rightfully so.iverson was close with denver's whole organization and didn't want to leave,so i think he would accept a lesser role.

as a fan of ai and not a ai fan(there is a difference)denver would do very well with iverson as a 6th starter.however i wouldn't bring iverson back to start cause jr earned that role but a guard rotation of cb,jr,and ai,jones would be deadly
trust me...i know what the hell i'm talking about!

Agreed, even many of the Denver fans who loved when AI was on the team, seem to agreeing now that the ball movement and team play we see much more often, is not only more enjoyable to watch, but also leads to a better team.

Overall I think the market for AI is going to be very limited, especially with the quotes that have appeared in the paper since his arrival in Detroit. Teams have started to realize that you need more then one superstar and a few decent players around them to win in this league, and a guys who plays as selfishly as AI is not conducive to that atmosphere.
