OT: Little help please

Post#1 » by LukeMontague » Tue Apr 7, 2009 11:01 pm

Bulls fan here.
I will be visiting New York in 3 weeks time with a friend, (we both live in the UK) and we have been planning on spending a day in Boston while we are over there. Now fingers crossed Bulls will be playing Boston in the playoffs so we can go watch a game, but I was wondering how hard it would be to get hold of tickets? And also, what kind of price would I be looking at?
Thanks in advance

Very very expensive, especially for people looking to root for the Bulls. ;)

Rocky5000 dribbles one, dribbles two, crossover, jumper..FTWWWW...SWISHHHHHHHHHH!!

Go online and see. Or if your in Boston head out to the Garden and see what's good. Wyc said they will hold tickets for people to buy at the last second, on game days..but the prices should be salty...so IDK... :)
WHAT THEY GON’ SAY NOW? ‎ THANK YOU TRUTH!

Last year, the prices for first round playoff games weren't so bad in the reseller's market.

What happens if you buy tickets for games 5, 6 or 7 and it doesnt go that far? Do you just lose your money?
I will be flying to New York on the 28th, which means it will be around game 6/7 in the first round i think.

You will have to get them second hand online -- StubHub, AceTickets (not sure of their prices) -- and pay a premium, but if you want to shell out the money it shouldn't be hard to get up until the day of the game.

If I were you I'd just wait until a few days before you come to Boston. You'll pay more but not risk losing money on the trip.

Not usually the tickets are numbered by event. So Boston will be games 1,2,5,7, but the tickets are usually numbered so they will be Event 1,2,3,4 and if it doesn't go 7 you have game 1 or 2 for the second round. That beings said chances are nobody is going to sell those game 5 tickets till they know their is a game 5.
