I'm a Warrior fan that attended this game. I'm pretty neutral.

When the Laker fans invaded Arco the way they did tonight, a sweep of sadness kind of flooded me. I felt embarassed for Sacramento. Things are a lot different than they were back in the glory days of Sacramento basketball. I applaud those that supported their Kings even if it were a meaningless game.

The Kings played a road game tonight in Arco Arena. What a shame.

ya, last time i went the the kings lakers in december i think at arco. I was the only kings fan with a sea of yellow in my entire section. im just glad the kings won that one. it would suck dealing with all the lakers fans the whole time. its the kings house, it should be all kings fans

that sucks. we dont deserve the 6th man jersey hanging up there. kings fans at least need to buy out the lakers games so kobe doesnt say its a home game. now he gets extra home games from us and the clippers big time with half a home game wherever there are tons of kobe fans.

At least next year when we get rubio or griffin we will know who the true fans are and who the band wagon ones are when arco gets full again.

Honestly, it's just the damn frontrunners. There are front runners everywhere. I'll bet a large portion of those alleged "Laker fans" were "Kings fans" during the GLory years. It takes zero backbone to be a Laker fan.

Maybe I'm a bit dramatic, but it was tragic inside there. This is Arco Arena. The Kings shouldn't be getting booed on their own court and MVP chants should be drowned out easily.

I started watching basketbll a lot more seriously in 1999 and when it wasn't my (At the time, very pathetic) Warriors, I was watching my favorite all time player Chris Webber play in Sacramento.

Front runner fans or not, the atmosphere was arguably the best in the NBA. The best show on earth in my opinion. It was how basketball was meant to be played. Most guys my age point to Jordan and the Bulls as what got them into basketball. I can admit it even as a Warrior fan, that even though the Warriors were my team and I'd be excited about Larry Hughes and Bobby Sura, (Ouch, I know.) what really opened my love for this game was watching the team oriented game being played in Sacramento. Chris was my favorite player as a kid from 94 and I kept track of him as he went from Washington to Sacramento.

During introductions is when it hit me with kind of an ache in my stomach. The Lakers were being cheered in Arco and I look up at CWebb's/Vlade's recently retired jerseys in the rafters and it saddened me that those times are certainly gone.

It isn't the same anymore like in the past. We just have to accept that Arco Thunder isn't here right now. Well, we do have games in this so called season that resembled games from the past but as is right now the team is playing horrible and I could understand why the capacity of the arena isn't met. High ticket prices for a poor product on court, players doesn't seems to care at times and etc. This isn't the only factor but one of many though IMO.

It does pains me to see Laker fans just dominate our home and chant whatever. That shouldn't happen. I remember the old atmosphere, the invincible aura, in Arco Arena that both the Kings and opposing teams felt. The opposing team did really feel that they have no shot winning here and began to do game plans for the next game even though they are facing the Kings at home today haha.

The best thing to say to my fellow Kings fans and to myself is to be optimistic and go from there, you know? There is always a trend in the NBA. You from elite to good to average to mediocre to horrible. And vice versa. We will be elite in the near future...hopefully. ahaha I don't know what else to say.

Hey, nobody's arguing that it isn't sad/tragic/whatever. We all know it is, and Lakers games especially are horrible. And like Smills said, a lot of those people are bandwagoners. A lot of them are just idiots that like to kick people when they're down, and a lot of them are Kobe fanboys that love to jump up and yell "OOOOOHHHH MVP!!!" with their hand over their mouth like a bunch of morons every time Kobe makes a free throw.

I think it will change a little next year because the team should hopefully at least be a little bit better with a more positive outlook (high draft pick by Geoff and hopefully a coach that can properly and effectively keep the guys consistently motivated), and perhaps most importantly lowered ticket prices. Right now, it's not surprising that the arena is like that when you consider that the price of a Kings game right now is more expensive than most despite the team being arguably the league's worst. Obviously, that's not going to add up to anything positive.

The good news is that when you're in there on a good night, you can see that the fans haven't lost the passion--they just need something to be passionate about. I was in there for the wins against both Denver and Phoenix this year, and when things get exciting, the place still gets loud as hell. If the team can get back to where there's something to cheer about, I know that we'll see Arco back to its old self (or hopefully whatever the name of the new arena is).
