Wade Miller signs with Toronto.

Remember how awful he was here? How many games did he start? Damn, he was bad!

Reds Send Jacque Jones To Minors
The Reds sent outfielder Jacque Jones, 33, to the minors on Monday.

Jones signed with the Reds on Feb. 5, but he wasn't able to win a reserve role with the team.

It seems that former disgruntled Cubs relievers alway strive outside of Chicago. Look at Latroy Hawkins.

there is no pressure in san fran, everyone knows they will suck. bob howry is a choke artist, but only when it matters.
how many jab steps does it take to get to milwaukee?

Uh, did you see Lasuck with the Yankees. Also At&t is a total pitcher's park.
Apollo Creed- there is no pressure in san fran, everyone knows they will suck. bob howry is a choke artist, but only when it matters. San fran won't suck. That pitching staff is good enough to limit the damage and the offense is mediocre enough to support the pitching staff. Lincecum, Cain, Johnson, a "better" (maybe) Zito, and Jonathan Sanchez and a solid bullpen will be good.

lincecum will be good. matt cain had a 3.76 era and only recorded 8 wins. randy johnsons arm will fall off before the season is over. barry zito is terrible for every reason that rich hill is. i dont know who sanchez is. that offense is porous. its a bunch of kids and a worn out group of renteria, winn, rowand, and molina. but say they overachieve and get in the playoff race... see how howry does then.

theory 2) crappy scouting by the giants not realizing bob howry throws all fastballs

Guess who looks sexy?

After two innings, Michael Wuertz struck out 4, gave up a double, and has a win.

His first appearance in a loss, A's already down by 3, but still struck out two.
Hi second appearance was in the bottom of the 6th, struck out two, while giving up a double to the middle batter, Aybar. Athletics opened up against the Angels.

Wood struck out the side in a non save situation. Goooo Kerry!

DeRosa hit a double off the wall in the bottom of the 9th(so close to tying the game), bringing in 3 runs. score 5-4. Indians couldn't come up with any more, come back came up short. Next day, DeRosa hit the go ahead home run in the 6th, Tribe wins 8-4 after scoring 3 more in the 8th.

Yankees look bad.
Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:

"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

You hope a guy is okay after a collision like that. It appears all the results were negative.

It reminds me a bit of Bump Bailey from The Natural.
