Why? T-Mac for Duncan is totally fair.

speaking of T-Mac...

http://www.realgm.com/src_checktrade.ph ... id=5051392

Orlando and Houton have come to an agreement.

Shard/Pietrus/09 2nd for T-Mac/White

Orlando loses out from a health/production standpoint but we want to explore the 2010 Free Agent crop and this gets us there by shedding a ton of 2010 salary.

Orlando accepts.

Houston accepts. T-Mac is both an injury risk and a burdensome contract, and it would be easier to move two expensive pieces than 1 SUPER expensive piece. Also part of the plan for Houston to own all 2nd round draft picks. Rashard Lewis, while expensive, would be an amazing addition next to Yao, an athletic rangy forward to go along with the versatile post presence. James White, although a potential slam-dunk champ, is not a potential rotation player. Pietrus helps bolster the rotation with T-Mac out.

Trade approved please update your rosters; also even with West and Smith being BYC it still works; smith and west lose their BYC status

Toronto Raptors Trade:
Chris Bosh $14,410,581
Roko Ukic $1,250,000

Oklahoma City Thunder Trades:
2009 Oklahoma City Thunder's First Round Pick *(Top 1 Protected)- If the Pick is #1, then the Toronto Raptors will send it's 2009 First Round Pick in the deal as well.
Robert Swift $3,579,131
Jeff Green $3,284,640
Damien Wilkins $3,100,000
Chucky Atkins $3,240,000
Total: $13,203,771 x 1.25 = $16,504,713.75 > $15,660,581

Raptors Agree. My goal was to move Bosh and I did. I don't think he will stay here because there isn't much talent here. This was a treadmill team with not much tradeable assets so my best asset was Bosh. It's sad to see him go but I pick up Jeff Green a great fit to Bargs and with the pick I can pick a PF replacement for Bosh if needed.

2 Players were waived above to make room

Trade approved please update your rosters

Neither Washington or Plaisted are signed to a contract. you can trade their rights but they don't count to fill the rooster :-?

Looks like this deal won't work then. Egh. I'll have to talk to PHI again.

Trade is vetoed; half a dozen GM's submitted veto requests for this trade.

A few of their arguments that really stood out to me were
1. Philly is ahead of Detroit in the playoff picture, trades all its young talent with a lot of value AND 2 1st round picks for a bunch of old washed up guys struggling to make the playoffs?

2. A case can be made for Iguodala=Prince. Depends on what player you are after, but at most a 2nd round pick should be the difference.
As for the rest
Thad Young (averaging 20ppg in the past 2 months)
Speights (a promising bruising PF)
Dalembert (a proven defensive center, albeit on a rough contract)
two unprotected 1sts
for
a 34 year old expiring Rasheed Wallace
and Rip Hamilton?
Please it's ludacris.

3. I don't think the Philadelphia - Detroit trade should stand. Giving up Iguodala, Speights, and Young for Prince and Hamilton - Wallace is an unrestricted free agent, so acquiring him basically does the Sixers no good - would in my mind be pretty questionable. Adding two unprotected first rounders makes it indefensible. I think they could easily edit the trade to make it acceptable, but in this form I think it should be vetoed.

-I think a lot of these arguments had merit; thus I've decided to agree with these GM's and veto the trade.

COME ON! Ok first off I go from a potiential contender to a rebuilding team, giving up one of the best SG/SF combo's in the league.

Secondly look at PHI's roster after this trade, look at their starting 5.
Sheed
Brand
Prince
Rip
Miller

A great defensive team, and a title contender. He said he would resign sheed so it has more value then an expiring. Also I am taking on two horrible contracts in evans and green. It isn't so unbalanced that its veto worthy. Please reconsider, both teams got what they wanted out of the deal.

Why put in the work and convince a guy if the trade is going to get vetoed? This isn't fair its not like Kobe for A.I or something, both teams clearly have a direction. It doesn't unbalance the league, my team isn't going anywhere, anytime soon, we just have a young base.

skorff26 you fail to see Philly trade all their bad contracts in that trade. They would have a core of RiP/Prince/Brand and could resign Sheed and Miller on reasonable contracts and they could have enough money to put a decent bench. Prince play without a backup in Detroit so they would need a 1/2 guard and if possible a starter C and they could easily win a Championship. The original deal was loop sided for Detroit, this deal is better for Philadelphia imo.

Still that trade doesn't work it's a 7x4 trade. Detroit have 13 players on the rooster minus 4 = 9 + 7 = 16. So yes it should be vetoed because it doesn't work properly according to the rules but not for being unbalanced.

You take out the two unprotected 1sts and you might have a case. It's about value not whether or not a team comes out looking better. Regardless of what it does for Philly, Detroit gets far too many assets out of it.

And even with their contracts, both Dalembert and Evans have value in this game.

Dude, this wasn't even close. It was hands down the worst trade I've seen, throughout all the games I've been apart of. Detroit just absolutely destroyed Philly in this deal, I can understand why you wish it wasn't vetoed as you raped the crap out of him in that trade. The fact is, Philly is better than the Pistons right now, he trades ALL of his young talent of a team whos a lot better, for a bunch of washed up guys, who might not even make the playoffs. Its "turrible" as Sir Charles would say.

This would be like me trading Durant and two 1sts for McGrady.

Evans has value in this game? Evans has value in no league give me a break. 3 years at 4-6 mill for grabbing boguts balls isn't value. He is useless outside of rebounding.

skorff26 all I am asking is you read my post and reconsider, if you still deem it veto worthy then so be it. I will have to go another direction. Egh.

Adjusted, I did what you said skorff26. Trade ID #5051581 for salaries.

Marreese Speights
Andre Iguodala
Samuel Dalembert
Reggie Evans
Thaddeus Young
Willie Green
1st Rounder 2009 (top 5 protected)
1st Rounder 2010 (top 5 protected)

for

Walter Sharpe
Antonio McDyess
Richard Hamilton
Rasheed Wallace
Tayshaun Prince
Will Bynum
Tor 2nd Rounder 2009(pick 35?)
Det 2nd Rounder 2010

Adjusted. PHI gets picks back to help them replenish their bench. The 1st rounder are protected in case of injury, etc. I take back two bad constracts in Wille and Evans.

we tried a hundred deals last night to get it right.... we just couldnt

i was fine with the 2nd one..... If both teams agree why should it matter, as long as its pretty ding dang damn close....? you guys kinda make new commers not like this.....anyways we just worked out ANOTHER deal.... (THAT I ACCEPT AND IT BETTER WORK!)

Marreese Speights
Andre Iguodala
Samuel Dalembert
Reggie Evans
Thaddeus Young
Willie Green
1st Rounder 2009 (top 5 protected)
1st Rounder 2010 (top 5 protected)

for

Walter Sharpe
Antonio McDyess
Richard Hamilton
Rasheed Wallace
Tayshaun Prince
Will Bynum
Tor 2nd Rounder 2009(pick 35?)
Det 2nd Rounder 2010

once again this line up

Miller/Bynum/Ivey
Rip/Louis Will/Rush
Prince (can play 35mins plus)/Sharpe
Brand/Mcdysse/Marshall
Sheed/Ratliff/Smith

is a couple decent bench players away from a title... and i dont care what anyone says.... its basically the same team detroit team that won the title (except no bench) minus BILLUPS add miller and minus wallace add BRAND. if i can land a decent back up PG and C its over or this game is fixed

this is the best deal so far thats work and i like it the best... its a deal....

Thats the point, its not even remotely close. It would be close if he was giving you two 1st round picks, not the other way around.

This is ridicules. skorff26 you sent me two suggestions to make it 'fair enough'. I implemented both. Please let it go through now, I've done what you said. Clearly PHI likes the trade, so do I. Value is subjective, this isn't a trade that will unbalance the league which IMO is when you veto a trade. I have a nice young team. He has a contender.
