Kobe Is Shaq Bynum Is Kobe

Post#1 » by Mamba Venom » Thu Apr 9, 2009 3:25 am

Do you fellow Laker fans agree w/ this

Back in 2k Shaq was dominate and Kobe was the 2 punch that knocked out the league.

Kobe was more dominant in past years (Shaq had some dominant years before 2k) but Bynum wasn't the 2 punch yet. Back in 1998 Kobe wasn't the 2 punch yet.

The 2000 Lakers didnt have Gasol but Shaq was such a force that it almost takes Bynum + Gasol to = Shaq + Rice's productivity basically. LO is a hybrid of HORRY, FOX and the rebounding of the bench back then.

I'm hard on Bynum but their is an interesting path with the Lakers and the 2 guys that have ONLY played in purple and gold.

Yep, only TL makes sense here. Forget all the comparisons this is a different time and space, stop living in the Shqa-Kobe era............it's OVER.

It's over until Marc Cuban buys the Lakers this summer and then Shaq hops aboard the bandwagon again!

totally different team

this is a 5-headed dragon version, with 2 heads bigger and badder than the other 3, and replacements heads if need be...

Absolutely not....Andrew Bynum is unique in the Lakers pantheon of championship seasons. He's a wild card until we can see what he looks like in the playoffs.

I wish Kobe was Shaq and Bynum was Kobe. Shaq was the best big in the league and Kobe was the best player in the league. They were 1 and 2 in the league not just on the Lakers.
Bynum is a big who is younger yes but not only is he not one of the best bigs he has got to be healthy for a season to even be talked about as a star let alone a Kobe. Right now he is looking like a waste of money unless he can get and stay healthy.
Plus Bynum doesn't seem he has the Kobe focus either.

Wait til next year guys

Bynum WILL BE putting up young 22 year old Kobe like #'s when he is 22. Bynum was doing it in his breakout games just before the injury. ALSO Bynum had to start his career on the bench (not many stars do)

Kobe will dominate at least the 4th quarter like Shaq dominated quarters 1 - 3.

KOBE = dominate
BYNUM = young stud putting up Kobe like numbers
GASOL + LO + bench = more talent than the 3peat team = these Lakers WILL WIN 4 or more bringing it to 7+ this millinium
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!

Return to Los Angeles Lakers
