Magic # is 158!

our bullpen really is shaky, what a weakness. I wish we re-signed Arthur Rhodes... we have a lot of youth in the minors to trade for some arms, but this is our achilles' heel.

The Marlins remind of the Mets last year w/ better pitching but worse hitting, and a horrible bullpen

it seems to be everyone's heel as of late. you don't have any solid RPs anymore if you've noticed. there are some great closers, but no more david weathers, chad foxs', octavio dotels etc anymore.

we need at least 2 solid RPs in the bullpen before we become "real" contenders even for the wild card, let alone the division. Pinto scares the beejesus out of me when he gets on the mound, he just throws instead of pitches.

I think 13 of our next 16 or 16 of the next 19 on the road, something crazy like that
if we can tread water over that stretch, we'll be dangerous all season

Man oh man, am I excited. Awesome way to start the season, but as Lane mentioned above, the next set of games are going to be very telling because time and time again for the past 2 season, we could never win division games in Atlanta or Philadelphia for w/ever reasons.

So, if this team even thinks they can contend, take care of your business on the road 1st.

If we get out of this next road stretch with a good record, the league will def. take notice

the bullpen gives me a watery stool, as does relying on Andrew Miller starting now

Andrew Miller is going to break out this season, you heard it here first. Next Rick Ankiel, minus the terrible postseason breakdown (and incredible hitting).

The bullpen is still frighteningly awful though, fortunately thats one area you can upgrade with trades without taking on too much money. Unfortunately however, its also the most competitive area in the trade market, with so many teams with bullpen needs.

Also Mike Stanton will be called up in June and pull a Miguel Cabrera, and be a postseason hero.
