Don't see how you have been eating crow lately. This season is due to Billups being here, nothing Karl has done. The team would actually have the 2nd seed locked up already, if he was a good coach.

Karl has always been a decent regular season coach if he had a good PG.
He's done a good job this year... But, if we lose 1st round he should be the first one out, as there really aren't any excuses this year.

That's all we're saying. Perform in the playoffs. We know what Karl can do in the regular season.

Karl is awesome.
Hope you guys keep him.
P.S. Congrats on your success going down the stretch. Wish my team had that kinda heart.

Karl has done nothing... wow! He just rolls the ball out there??? Why can't you all give him some credit? Of course Chauncey helped...coaches need talent that will play in a team manner, but to say Karl didn't do anything is ridiculous. Give him a little respect.
Secondly...YES, he has to win a series too...but I have a feeling even if Karl puts Melo and others in great position to be successful and the players don't get it done... everyone will blame Karl. If Melo goes 6-20 on good shots, that's Karl's fault? If JR plays 35 minutes and goes 3-21..that's Karl's fault (because everyone thinks JR should always be on the court). The coaching staff has done a very good job this year especially in the 2nd half trying to piece things together when K-mart has been out alot and Nene a little bit. Karl must coach well, but honestly, Melo, Nene, Chauncey, JR, Bird and other's must play serious d and not turn the ball over. If they limit turnovers and defend... I think they will do great, including Karl...
I am glad someone on here will give Karl some credit.

Something we actually agree on, while I have had plenty of issues with Karl, and still cannot believe he is still here after quitting on this team last year, like he even acknowledges himself, he has done a pretty good job so far this year. The playoffs are were he must show that he can make the difference.

Yeah. I'm glad we have GK to get this team to the playoffs. Now we need Super-GK to get through the playoffs. Dude needs to step it up, period. Kudos for everything he has done in 300+ games in the regular season. No kudos for playoff performance yet.
No kudos, no praise, no constructive criticism about the playoffs until he wakes up and really makes it a series and gains ground in the playoffs.
Show us a masterful use of the talent on this team, despite player faults. You can make adjustments in-game when you see one or two guys are not hot, and still win a playoff game.

Yeah, seriously. Can we please wait until the Nuggets have accomplished something this year before anybody apologizes for anything? Last I checked, we were frustrated with lack of playoff success. That hasn't changed yet. Last time Denver had any playoff success was against a George Karl coached #1 seed, so let's put the corks back in the champagne.

Maybe "done nothing" wasn't entirely accurate, but he certainly could have done a lot more. As I said, this team could already have the 2nd seed locked up if he was a good coach. Most of the success that has come this season, has more to do with Billups and Nene being healthy.
I'm sorry, but I don't give respect to someone who gave up on their team and fans (as well is quick to blame others). If he wants some, he needs to earn it.

He wasn't the only one to give up on the team last year... I understand your stance Nutty and others and I can't say as I blame you... my question is will you all be as hard on Melo and others as you will with GK if they fall flat in round 1???
They have put themselves in a very good position, yes, they I agree they should have clinched #2 spot already, but that's not only GK's fault either. A team is a team and while some of his rotations are a bit "different" to be nice... there have been nights where the players just didn't get it done.
I am not a GK fan, but he's the 1st coach to ever put back to back 50 win seasons... if most fans remember the times before Melo and all the coaches in between.... we were quite a crappy team... but like I said... regular season is fine...but really it don't mean a thing if you ain't got that ring!!!!

Good lord. Yes, he's a great regular season coach. A lot of that is due to maxing out on talent.
Ok, here's the question that will make this all the more clear: if GK was the coach of any of the WC Chicago Bulls teams, with Michael Jordan and company, with GK's rotations, how would it play out?

He probably wins at least 4 probably 5 rings and screws up one year... with that team...all you had to do was roll the ball out... Jordan would take care of everything else. Phil gets way too much credit for all the Chips there... Coaches in general get too much credit or too much blame... it's a player's league. But Phil is a much better psychologist than GK is... and I think that's what your coach needs to be more of.

i see this team getting out of the first round... we own the mavs, and no isn't going anywhere with all these chris paul rumors. i will give geroge karl a high five for getting jr to grow up and become a great basketball player with all due help from martin melo and billups too. for what coaches are looked upon as, george karl has done a great job minus the playoffs. this year is a little different, i know that and so do you.
