I'm happy with WIlliams as our PG. I was happy when the Jazz drafted him and I'm happy now. And if I were the GM you can bet I'd never ever trade Williams as long as he wants to play here.
That, of course, is not t say that I wouldn't be happier if Deron commits a little bit more about his on court leadership and about working a little bit harder on his flaws...
About the second best PG in the league... I'm not sure... top 5 he certainly is... but second...

1) Kevin Garnett $22,000,000
2) Shaquille O'Neal $20,000,000
3tie) Jermaine O'Neal $19,728,000
3tie) Jason Kidd $19,728,000
5) Kobe Bryant $19,490,625
6tie) Allen Iverson $19,195,312
6tie) Stephon Marbury $19,195,312
8) Tim Duncan $19,014,188
9) Tracy McGrady $19,014,187
10tie) Baron Davis $16,440,000
10tie) Shawn Marion $16,440,000

How many of these guys would you rather have than Deron? 2 or 3? These are the kinds of players who get max contracts.

You want a guy getting a max contract to be perfect, and that simply isn't reasonable.

He is on the same contract scale that every other team in the league uses when they resign players off of their rookie deals. Melo, LBJ, DWade, CP3, Bosh, and a bunch of other guys around the league are on the same exact contract. It is structured that way, so to think that he isn't worth what he is getting is crazy in itself imo.

If you want to bitch about a contract, bitch about AK's or Boozer's. I think you guys are in the same boat that Denver is in with Kmart when it comes to trying to move AK47's contract.

I never see anything on this board about Korver, isn't his contract up after the season? I saw on the trade machine the other day where it was. Was the trade machine accurate?

He can opt out. I don't think there's been much indication either way whether he will or not yet.

Max guy posts 26/14 in a loss. I don't think he should be the one that we should be targetting to.

Deron is worth of that contract. Ak have max money too... and he is playing like a guy of 5 mill per year.

Deron still have to improve, and he will.

Right now, Deron and Harp are the only guys earning their green right now. It's sickening how much the bozos on this team are getting payed to not give a damn...
