I've never been to Cleveland, but judging by that aerial view they repeatedly show of the city, it looks hella boring. Yonge and Eglinton is probably more pumpin.

Bautista outplays his contract by more than $70 million over the next four seasons (2013-2016).

Ichiro agrees with you. A year or two ago he was quoted as saying (through his translator): "I'm not at all excited to go to Cleveland. If I ever catch myself saying I'm excited to go to Cleveland I would punch myself in the face."

Ichiro probably ain't lying. People say Toronto is a concrete jungle, take at look at Cleveland and Cincinnati and every other middling american metropolis. But I'll leave it at that as I've never been, so who knows what it's like. For all I know it could be an amazing place with modernized shopping malls, beautiful scenery, delicious authentic cuisine, etc.

Adam Lind is having a rough game. We're down to our last 3 outs before we lose the title of 1st in the league. :(

Too bad about the double play. Oh well we can't expect Lind to be a world beater every game.

League has terrible control on that 2-seamer.

Yeah but it's got amazing movement, he did some good work with it last season. League has soooo much talent, if he could only find a shred of consistent control he's be closer material easily.

BTW Hafner MURDERED that ball.

doh... they couldn't capitalize their opportunity in the bottom of the 7th, and now Cleveland has widened their lead... 5-2?

Yeah the movement is K-Rod/Mariano-esque. The only difference is his piss-poor control. Unfortunate.

The sweep would of been better.

We just didn't have it today, we got close but it wasn't enough.

Damn, wish we got the win today but I'm on fire on the series calls.

Tigers 3-1 check
Indians 2-1 check.

I'll post a prediction for the twins series in the series thread :D
