Hopefully Prince homers so Gregg as a closer can stop.

LMAO..

This guy is such a joke of a closer.

Can you imagine a playoff scenario with this guy on the mound?

Fielder Ks. Nice job by Gregg getting out of a jam. Cubs win 2 out of 3 at miller. 4-2 start.

Yeah, nice job Gregg. You got out of a jam you created.. Well done.

Look at his K to BB ratio. He's certified junk.

Sorry but it was Jud and Ron. Jud is Pat's 5th inning replacement.

you're right waysa. Gregg is the worst pitcher ever. With that horrible save record and horrible era. It's the beginning of the season. Things happen. Wood had a horrible start. He gave up the loss to milwaukee in the first game. I don't seem to recall you wanting to murder him then.

Gregg's K to BB ratio is horrible. He shouldn't be closing. Period. End of discussion.

Gregg has been awful in all 3 appearances this season and while we are only a week in he was bad last year in Florida. Imagine the pressure that he will have trying to save a 1 run game at Wrigley with 42,000 people on their feet. It won't be pretty.

Kerry Wood is filthy and a pitching prodigy. Who is Kevin Gregg?

Also, Wood walked 18 batters all last year. Gregg should have that mark eclipsed by the end of April.

Last year Gregg had a .582 OPS against compared to Wood's .630. The guy doesn't get knocked around a lot. He just hasn't located his pitches to get the grounders he's used to.
