Trade Amare+the first pick for Jason Kidd. After all, Kerr did once say that Kidd may be the greatest PG of all time :nonono:

i got $5 that says Rubio doesn't even go in the draft this year. And I got $20 that says Griffin will get picked the number 1 pick in the draft, and I bet $1 million that says if Blake Griffin doesn't get drafted as the first pick then that team will not have 1 sell out game during the 2009-2010 season.

I'll take the $5 and million dollar bet.

from DraftExpress.com

Sources close to the situation indicate that Rubio’s family is now in favor of him entering this year, and that will almost certainly be on the early-entry list when it’s released on April 27th. His buyout still needs to be negotiated, which is easier said than done, but a final decision on whether to stay in likely won’t come until very close to the pull-out deadline, on June 19th. Unlike college players who are bound by the more restrictive NCAA rules, International players can enter the draft up to three times, which gives him plenty of wiggle room.

Also announced today—Rubio has accepted an invitation to the Reebok EuroCamp, which will be conducted from the 6-8 of June in Treviso, Italy. Joventut may have to lose in the quarterfinals of the playoffs to make that a reality, though. They are currently in 6th place in the league.

If the Suns win the lottery... slap yourself on the face, it's all a dream!
If it was the Lakers or sth, then MAYBE Stern's ping pong balls would magically do the unthinkable, but this the Phoenix Suns we're talking bout...

Anyways, Griffin will prolly go first, but Rubio also could depending on who gets the 1st pick (T-Wolves could take Rubio 1st for example, since they already have Love and Al Jefferson).

If we could somehow trade for the 2nd pick and draft Rubio that'd be a match made in heaven.
Dude thrives at running an uptempo offense and is a pick n roll speciallist (*cough* Amare Stoudemire *cough*) . Also a very good defender and good slasher, with a poor jumpshot for now. Guy has pre-microfracture surgery Jason Kidd written all over him!
Ricky idolizes Nash and would be able to learn a ton from him, while being that much waited playmaking and defensive backup PG we've always wanted until Nash lets him take over.
