Odom made Randolph cry.
Randolph will make the rest of the league cry in a year or two

lets bring this thread up next season, since both players are showing the type of player we expect them to be, its going to be really interesting

His team got Beasley'd Last night.

NO: Gave up two huge shots to David West to win the Hornets the game
Celtics: Got the game deciding turnover.
Two losses right there, where he played a major part.
What???-- Beasley was DRAPED ALL OVER HIM WITH GREAT DEFENSE! Shows how much you know/watched....WadeKnicks2010 wrote:Nah. Lets see what Beasley's done this week

What do you mean "gave up" two huge shots to West? His hand was in his face on both of those shots. Those are the type of shots where you give credit to the offensive player for just making a very tough shot. And i find it amusing that you forget to mention West shot 36% from the field in that game, as well as scoring under his season average and rebound average. But ya know, who cares about that when West took 2 very difficult shots at the end of OT and made them![]()
It was a bad play. He's a rookie, do you expect him not to make any mistakes? Well I hate to break it to you but even all-time greats like MJ, Bird, Magic and great players in todays game like LeBron, Kobe, Wade all make mistakes, and have made mistakes since their rookie years.
I find it pretty amusing that you also keep the Knicks game out of it (![]()
), big suprise there. You refuse to give the kid credit, when he has had a better year then Randolph and has a higher ceiling. Give credit where credit is due.

I just disagree, Beasley is much closer to reaching his peak than Randolph.

I'll just continue to add that Randolph will always have the higher defensive upside than Beasley which makes or breaks a franchise power forward. Randolph's tremendous length smokes Beasley's length by a large margin.
GswStorm3 wrote:Wrong, his length only helps his great shot blocking. Of course you're going to look at upside with a 19 year old to project him down the road.
