Chicago won in Detroit....here you have it Cleveland, enjoy Detroi in first round 8-)

Now if Chicago wins Toronto at home, Phi can win 1 out of 2.

It looks like we got Philly.

Great, great, great...

Also Orlando will have a lot of problems with Chicago.

Yes,yes, yes the best possible scenario :D

I'd rather have Chi than Philly....76ers are much more like Atlanta than Chi is....but it doesn't matter....C's will win Banner 18 this year-----Last year, they played a their highest level ALL SEASON LONG---so, when the playoffs came--They COULDN'T turn it up a notch----Different story this season...I expect to see the REAL Celtics once the playoffs begin--!!!

I too would rather play Chi. But, oh well, got to be confident in this team no matter who they play.

Ok. So Detroit is definitely the 8 seed now?

So if Chicago wins and Philly loses 1 out of 2, Philly is the 7 seed?

If Chicago wins and Philly wins both, Philly is the 6 seed?

And if Chicago loses and Philly loses both, Chicago is the 7 seed?

I dont know.

Playing Iguodala in the playoffs probably has Pierce a little worried right now. Dude is physically a monster..but I'd rather have to deal with him and Andre Miller, than dealing with Gordon, D.Rose, Hinrich, Ty Thomas, Noah, Brad Miller(dude seems to play like Shaq everytime he plays us) and those BUlls..they're pretty good IMO...If anybody was to give us a run like ATL did last year, I'd think Chicago would be the one...hope this turns out to be our matchup...

No, Detroit should still be able to move up to the seventh seed by virtue of a better eastern conference record than Philadelphia. That is, if the Pistons win their last game and Philadelphia loses both of their remaining two games. However, Detroit's last game is at Miami. Ouch. So, it isn't unlikely that it could end like this...

5. MIA - 44-38 (@ATL & vs DET) W, W or L, W
6. CHI - 42-40 (vs TOR) W
7. PHI - 40-42 (vs BOS & @CLE) L, L or W, L
8. DET - 39-43 (@MIA) L

Philadelphia owns a 2-1 series lead over Detroit so they got the tie-breaker.

we should rest ray and paul against philly... basically tank the game, let them rest and avoid detroit getting the 7 seed

i have no fear of losing to any of the 3 teams, however i really dont want Ray to have to deal with Hamilton for a series again, and definately dont want KG having to come back after so long and play against Sheed

There's 0 chance we have of facing Detroit. If the 76ers lose their remaning 2 games and Detroit wins its last game, they'll have the same record and the 76ers will end up 7th because the own the tie-breaker. There's no chance Detroit catches Chicago either. The Cleveland-Detroit series is cemented. We only have a chance of playing either the 76ers or Chicago, with the 76ers being the more likely scenario.

I'd rather play an inferior team that isn't hot than an inferior team that is.

We need to win at PHI tonight just to send a message...It is nice we don`t have to play DET in the first round. CHI is also in good form lately, so PHI is the best option, IMO...

Oddly enough I think we want a longer series to let some players get back into playing shape.

I look forward to a seven game series so that everyone can pronounce us dead in the water again like last year.

I don't care who the Cs play just as long as it's not Chicago. Chicago is playing some really good ball right now ane whoever they play in the first round they are going to make it a series. Derrick Rose is a winner, I watch that game last night and he took over the game vs. the Piston. I don't like the Chicago match-up. I would actually rather face the Pistons. The Cavs are going to have an easy time with them trust me. These aren't the Piston of old.

I agree on the Piston form.

These aren't last year's Pistons.

The Cavs are going to have an easy time with them.

I'm with Franc Lucas on this one. Chicago is playing some of the best ball in the league. They are definitely going to be a tough out. I could even see them knocking off Orlando in a first round series. I'd much rather have Philly. We match up really well against them.
