There it is.......

Post#1 » by Kefa461 » Mon Apr 13, 2009 12:33 pm

LeBron James shrugged it off.

“We’re out there having fun,” he said. “When we are on the court we don’t disrespect anybody and we don’t fear anybody. It is no disrespect to any team, but we have our own thing. We’re all professionals and if you take it as disrespect then you have to do something about it."

Well there you go.....it's on.

Man I hope they meet in the ECF.

I'm going to keep it real and say I hope we don't see the Cavs int eh ECF. Since the New Big Three has been in Boston the Celtics haven't won a game at the Q. That means the Cavs they don't have prove that they can win a game in Boston because they would have 4 games at their place to fall back on just like the Celtics last season. So I hope D-Wade puts on his superman cape and beat the Cavs in the 2nd round.

So full of ****...a team that has won NOTHING acting like that? And everyone ELSE has a problem?

Makes LeBron even *more* unlikeable than he already was...

It will never happen...even the Miami Salvatores will have no shot against Cleveland...though it will be tough and it will hurt them deeply, the refs' allegiance will have to shift from Wade to Cleveland...

The C"s and the Cav's have held serve on their own court.......my bet is on the Champs to be the ones to break serve.

me, I'm pulling for detroit to pull an upset even though I don't see it. As for us I honestly think either Chicago or Philly will give us a test and win at least one game if not 2. I just don't see a focused team right now. We've pretty much lost every 1st qtr for a while and in the playoffs if you get off to a slow start all the time sooner or later it costs you. we need to find a way to come out with more energy. When's the last time we had a laugher where we lead wire to wire? I can't think of it and overall even when we had a healthy KG we just haven't dominated teams the way we did last year.

Well Cleveland has earned the right to have homecourt, Im actually happy we lost last night I think we will have something to prove if both teams meet in the ECF. I know we will be able to steal one there the only question is can we win all 3 here?

I'd rather face the Lakers then the Cavs.

But alas we're in the real confrence, Eastern Confrence.

And no other team but those two matter though.

once again I'm going to keep it real by saying this. When I look at this season Cavs team I see the 2008 Boston Celtics. Like the 2008 Celtics, this Cavs team look more focus then any other team in the league right now. They aren't resting players because these guys are on a mission, they have one goal and that is to win a ring. They look together as a team, they haven't used the work UBuntu but they are playing like a team that has it. This season I haven't even heard one celtic player or coach used the term UBuntu.I'm not saying that this team isn't together but the lack of focus is a concern. To me the Celtics are having the same cavalier (no pun intended) attidute toward the regular season that I've seen in the Piston over the last couple of years. If the Piston have proven one thing is that you can't turn it on once the play-off start. I hope this lose will prove to be a wake up call. I hope KG is 100% healthy come play-off team and I hope the Cs find their UNBUNTU.

I don't see the need for over analysis. We aren't winning anything without KG and we don't need to get thrashed by the Cav's to see that. Healthy I think Pierce, Ray and KG can win a game in a CLE and I think the reverse can happen is well. If Boston wins Game 1 is the series over no. The home court advantage is about Game 7 hopefully we can stay the hell out of it.

I like how LeBron can say if you don't like it, beat us. But when KG and the defending champs do it, its classless.

I don't get all the hub bub on this board over Cleveland's antics yesterday. To the victor go the spoils.

And what's with this Cleveland hasn't won anything bilge being spewed around here? Well, you know what, we won LAST year. That doesn't buy us anything for THIS year.

Red used to talk about he wanted his team to be the instigators. What did we do along those lines yesterday?

Absolutely nothing.

I never will understand the pretentious attitude of fans of a team, let's say Cleveland for example, who have historically failed or come up short and have achieved no great height in their existence as a franchise of the utmost of importance.

As for the players of said team, I try not to overreact to it. Because every team probably have players who'd either individually or collectively behaved in a certain way that have rubbed others the wrong way. These moments are highlighted on TV and, thus look even more unrestrained.

I suppose it all comes back to you eventually. They say, what goes around, comes around. There's always going to be someone who does the same thing to you, so watch how you treat others or carry yourself in front of others. If you don't like it, try to think of how that other person felt when you'd done it to him or her in a direct or indirect way. Because laughing can just as easily turn to crying. Everyone is guilty of getting ahead of themselves once in a while. Just don't try to save face should you fail to meet your expectations. If Cleveland wanted to celebrate as such over a small victory. Let them. I mean I'm not trying to minimize a lost. But, teams that have championships, the winners, understand the bigger picture.

I read that the number of reallies represents the number of seasons he'd played, six.

Trying to gain support for their MVP candidate, the Cleveland Cavaliers created the website LeBronIsReallyReallyReallyReallyReallyReallyGood.com.

Kobe Bryant must have picked up on news of LeBron's MVP public relations push, as he had this to say when asked about his desire to win the MVP this season:

"I don't think about it at all," Bryant said. "It's not something that crosses my mind. It didn't cross my mind last year either. I really, really, really, really, really, really want that championship. I really, really, really want it."

With the way the internet works these days, I wouldn't be surprised if some Kobe fans has already secured the domain to Kobereallyreallyreallyreallyreallyreallywantsachampionship.com. Be on the look out for that one.

Thanks.

Yeah, I'd rather have this trophy. Oh, my bad... That's actually Pierce. He looks a lot like a life size trophy.
