Whos your least favorite announcer?

I think the only one I like is Van Gundy. I cant stand MIke Breen though he serious is in love with any team playing the C's, I HATE MIKE BREEN!

Van Gundy i find spot on. The bit where he said Vareajao should congratulate players not get mad when a player flops was great.
Breen I can't stand
Marc Jackson i think is fantastic... but only when the Celtics are winning,ha
Reggie Miller can be really annoying. Anyone hear him talk about how Tyrus Thomas should average a triple double?
I really miss Bill Walton... if and when Tommy ever retires this is the guy I would love to replace him.

Honestly, I don't like Marc Jackson. I think I have problems with guys that try too hard to have catchy, over the top tag lines they can use a couple times a game. I do love Van Gundy.

I hate almost all of the national guys now. Marv Albert, Fratello, and Bill Walton are the only ones I can stomach. Breen, Harlan, Jackson, Van Gundy, Reggie Miller are all incredibly annoying.

LOLOLOL Totally true its because he only speaks highly of a team or player when theyre winning. I miss Bill Walton to and yes Reggie is an idiot lol

I used to hate listening to Bill Walton, but now he's one of my favorite people of all time. Mostly because he told his son face to face, that he was going to lose to the celtics. In the context of; Son I love you, but the Celtics are the better team. The man loves the game and it's history.

The only guy I can't stand is our guy Tengay. Everyone seems to hate him too. Donny almost went off on him the other week.

Tanguay is pretty **** but nowhere as near as awful as DICKerson...God I ****' hate Greg DICKerson...what an idiot!

Breen isn't too bad. Van Gundy is excellent. Mark Jackson is pretty good too.

But I LOVE Tommy!!! And Gorman too.

bill walton cause he is ugly and annoying
charles barkley cause he is just dumn and clueless
and the worst is steven a smith. he is eating lebron james jock strap as we speak. he thinks that he will go to the knicks and be there savior. he has something coming when lebron stays.

Was Breen the guy that said, "Lebron Jamess! With NO REGARD FOR HUMAN LIFE!" or was that Harlan? That may be the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard an annoucer say. What the hell? His dunk somehow reminded you of Charles Manson?

Marv Albert is the man. I heard a game where Miller did that voice raising fake excitment thing - but way overboard and his voice started cracking. Marv goes, "Are you alright Reggie?" Classic.

Yeah, that was Breen. The ridiculous thing about it was that KG was doing a real half-assed block attempt and wasn't even close to LeBron's body, but the way Breen called it you'd think he splattered KG against the backboard during the dunk.

Breen's a douche. I remember listening to Holley on the radio talking about him, and he said something to the effect of, "Did Breen ask someone 'do you know who I AM?', and they didn't know who he was" in Boston, which was an attempt to figure out why he always seems to openly root against the Celtics. I also went to a summer class for a few weeks during college last summer and EVERYONE from New England INSTANTLY picked up on his suckiness.

Nobody should mention Bill Walton in this thread. That man's a genius when it comes to putting on an act, and it's even better when people think he's completely serious. I love his hyperbole. Snapper Jones, on the other hand, used to take his comments seriously and would condescend towards him whenever he had the chance. I haven't missed him at all.

I really don't like Jeff Van Gundy. Listening to he and Jackson at the same time, my ears hurt just thinking about listening to them talk about everything except for what's actually going on. They tend to go off on a tangent. It's like, hello? We [viewers] can hear you talking.

Barkley, Jon Barry... Sheryl Miller for just... Being there. I seldom watch TV so I'm certain there's a lot more names I could list.

I think most of the national guys seem pretty decent, Breen is the worst of them; I used to hate everyone back in the NBC days when they would just kiss Jordan's butt; but in retrospect - Walton, Snapper, Albert were a pretty good bunch. I used to hate Doug Collins. I remember DESPISING Hannah Storm for some reason.

One guy that bugs me is the Miami local guy that is incapable of saying "Wade", "Dwyane Wade", "Dwyane" or anything other variation- only "D-Wade."
