Whos your least favorite announcer?

I can't believe nobody has mentioned Dan Shulman for ESPN. Dude calls it' basket-a-ball. It's **** horrid to listen to.

Breen and Mark Jackson both suck, IMO, and Van Gundy can be amusing but usually is just off-topic all the time trying to get a laugh. The only announcer that I've heard in a long time that I really like besides Tommy and Mike is Hubie Brown, he actually talks about the game that is going on and really knows basketball. I also miss the occasional Houdini of the Hardwood sit in with Mike and Tommy, even if his voice could peel paint and curdle milk.

Was Breen the guy that said, "Lebron Jamess! With NO REGARD FOR HUMAN LIFE!" or was that Harlan? That may be the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard an annoucer say. What the hell? His dunk somehow reminded you of Charles Manson?

Marv Albert is the man. I heard a game where Miller did that voice raising fake excitment thing - but way overboard and his voice started cracking. Marv goes, "Are you alright Reggie?" Classic.

Yup...Breen sucks!

Not only is breen a horrible announcer, he just seems like a douche of a person as well. He's got that smarmy type of personality chockfull of passive aggressiveness and brown-nosing. He'd be "that guy" at work.

Marv albert is crazy as **** so he gets my vote for best national announcer. I bet he's always a hit at parties.

But I LOVE Tommy!!! And Gorman too.

I don't really like Tommy or any other local Color Commentators. Austin Carr is terrible Quinn Buckner is the absolute worst. The only team Color Man that I like off the top of my head is Sean Elliott.

Having said that. There are a lot of great local play-by-play guys. Gorman is fantastic.

I like most of the National guys but VanGundy, Fratello & Hubie are probably my two faves.

Breen does suck but what do you expect from a Knick announce? I like Van GUndy and Marc Jackson. On the local broadcast level, as nice a guy as Sean Elliott appears to be, he is an absolute homer dbag as an announcer. He makes Tommy look impartial which is hard to beleive. The nassaly guy from MIami also gets on my nerves but he is not a homer which is nice. Marc Zumoff for the Sixers is annoying because he thinks he's doing a radio broadcast when in fact he's on TV so everything is always exaggerated with him. THe Cavs announcers are unbelieveable homers especially the analyst who must be a former player.
