Victory Cigar: Win over sixers

Post#1 » by BillessuR6 » Wed Apr 15, 2009 8:29 am

I am going with PP who carried us offensively.

Good game by TA also! Pretty productive 40 minutes!

And it was nice to see Leon back!

Has to be Pierce. Nice game from TA as well. And I also agree that it was great to see Powe back.

Paul played great and without him there was no chance to stay in the game but I am more focused on the balance he sat. Pierce left the game at about the 2 min mark in the 3rd down 4 and came back with 4 mins to play and scored 2 more (big) points and also added a classic brain fart turnover to keep it game. I feel the "victory" was made in that time Pierce sat.

Perk did not score a ton in the game but the buckets he did score were big and he was beast on the glass and in the paint, so he deserves some love. Baby showed some nice post moves against a mismatch and did a respectable job on the glass.

But Tony Allen should be the one smoking. Stepped in for Ray with 18/4/5 and just was a force while Pierce was sitting. He again showed what could be if the kid could ever keep it together.
