100% Positivity Thread

Post#1 » by Brooklyn Zoo » Wed Apr 15, 2009 5:29 am

No trolls, no complaints, no excuses, no blame, no hate, no fighting, no stats, no worries about refs or other teams or star treatment or ratings or Stern.

Stay humble, stay focused, share the ball, call the picks, read the defense, make the extra pass get , get the loose balls, take care of the ball, manage the clock, stay in the defensive crouch, alley-oop, game by game by game by game by series by series by series by series, until 18.

Picking out that parade spot....WHO'S COMING WITH ME!

Its kinda on Doc - IMHO. He has got to get these guys clicking and find ways to use his suddenly deep team. The rotations and cohesions with those rotations are what might hold us back. Talentwise I like our chances against any team.

We might be more talented then last year.

You know I'm on board :), I still can't believe we won 60 games again with KG injured for so long. This team has a ton of heart, I like our chances.

We won something like 15 out of 22 games without. That's 7 losses. That's pretty impressive. We were missing one of our best players, and still managed to pull W's.

The only thing that may have messed us up in the long run, though, is the slump after the Christmas game. Other than that, this team is ready to go and get Banner 18, but this time around, we're even thirstier. :D

Watch out Cavs and Lakers, the Celtics are coming in full force. 8-)

Seriously, ever since Jan/Feb we've been missing what we though would be key bench pieces(TA, Baby, Powe) for us this year. During the same time we've added 2 rotation-level players and had to deal with the struggles of working them in. Not to even mention KG.

So long as we get that old 27-2 gang back together and Steph and Mikki do anything, I like our chances, a lot.

No kidding...with loads of injuries and getting screwed out of 4-6 games by the refs this season, we will either be 61-21 or 62-20...

I am with you all the way. KG will return at about 80%, Ray will shoot lights out, and the Truth will once again be the MVP of the playoffs and every series. It will be a very difficult task to take down the Bronites and the Fakers, but we have an excellent chance to get it done.

I am suprised that our local negativists have not detracted from this thread as well. I wish they would contribute their insights to the Cavs board, and go away.

GO GREEN FOREVER! NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE HEART OF A CHAMPION. AND DEFINITELY DO NOT EVER UNDERESTIMATE PAUL PIERCE. NO MATTER HOW WELL HE PLAYS, HE STILL NOT GET THE PRESS THAT KOBE, BRON, AND DWADE GET, AND THAT PISSES ME OFF. NONETHELESS, WHEN IT MATTERS, HE OUTPLAYS THESE GUYS - SEE SPRING 2008!!!!
SamIam 2010: Truth's ability to play so incredibly efficiently is so UNDERAPPRECIATED. Bballcool 2012: Amazing how great Pierce has been for so long. Continues to defy age! KG 2013: P is original Celtic. Wherever he goes, we go. This is The Truth's house.
