I've encountered a bloodhound virus on RealGM. I've verified it's RealGM as both times as I accessed it, I've gotten the notification of it affecting my computers, one of which is completely malfunctioned at work. In other words, I cannot access this website at work just because of the scare. I received the first one trying to go to Media Lounge. The other one was in the Bulls forum, but apparently, it says it was blocked.
After I have received notifcations that they were blocked(which they weren't), when I tried to log into my credit card accounts, it asked me for verification purposes to put in my user, pass, credit card number, expiration date, cvc code, and both security questions for 3 different credit card companies in the exact same format. So this may be something a lot more serious than what we thought.

viruses can be introduced to any forum via signatures. so never click on anyone's sig and always verify if you click a link in a post that the link goes to a legit website. you can do this by looking at the status bar on your browser. and never access your credit info after a scare until you completely scanned your computer.
