Rumor: Plaxico to the Bears

My 1st post in this forum, but anyways I'm not a Bears fan but just caught wind from a VERY reliable source that Plaxico will be a Bear soon. I sooo wanted my Rams to get him but anyway congrats.

I train with some former NFL players and a certain NFL analyst and thats where I got this from. I cant reveal the source but he works for FOX.

As a Bulls fan who suffered through the Amare rumors on Realgm this year, I refuse to believe it until I see it on ESPN.

You never know especially after the Cutler deal. But this guy should be suspended if it's not true.

OK, so if I assume Neil Cavuto is not the Fox analyst you are talking about - I'll bite. Is this a pre-draft "soon" or post draft? Trying to get an idea of just how long I will be Amare-ized by this rumor? :lol:

Who cares if the Bears signed him, dude's about to go to jail. Then when he gets out, the commish will suspend him for half a season. Isn't Plaxico over 30? Just sign Holt and focus on the draft thereafter.

It would be one hell of an free agent offseason personnel wise if JA adds Cutler, Plaxico, 3 offensive linemen including Pace and loses Orton, St. Clair & Tait.

If true, we are an elite offense with NO HOLES in the starting lineup.

My vote is to leave this bad boy unlocked. This board has SO much less activity than the Bulls board...seems to me that anything that spawns additional posting is a good thing.

Plax would pretty much ensure we spend the whole draft on D. Maybe a WR or OL prospect late rounds, but mainly D.

I don't want to get my hopes up, but damn that would be a great signing.
