Cassell, Douby, Solomon were all bought out in real life, just like Drew Gooden and Mikki Moore

They aren't on the roster, but I'm still paying the contracts...sorry for the confusion

Upon the philly, chicago trade..... the nuggets and sixers agree to a deal.

Nuggets trade/Sixers receive:

Kenyon Martin $14,431,818 J.R. Smith $4,985,001 Linas Kleiza $1,824,493 Renaldo Balkman $1,369,920
Total: $22,984,232

Sixers trade/Nuggets receive:
Malik Rose $7,647,500 Tyrus Thomas $3,749,880 DeShawn Stevenson $3,616,071 Roger Mason $3,500,000 2009 WAS 2nd

Total: $18,513,451 x 1.25= $23,141,813

i accept this deal.. sure philly takes on martians deal at least hes playing unlike brand. but we get three valuable youngsters. and we also lose stevensons 3 year deal. JR smith and Balkman bring some excitement to our bench. Klieza will be a very valuable tradin chip. kmart fills in at the 4 for now.

Denver Accepts:

I feel that the salary flexibility I gain will easily allow me to sign a free agent in the off-season to make up for the talent drop-off in this trade. Smith is a bit of a loose plug, and although he is a good player I like the fact that I am able to get a savvy vet that hits key shots and has been the key to a championship calibre team's run this year. Taking on Stevenson sucks, but I think that on the right team he can get back to where he was pretty easily. I think Thomas will be a big part of this team moving into the next few years, and this year. I think that the Nuggets are now an elite defensive team after this trade.

Minnesota and Detroit have agreed on a deal

Prior to the deal, Minnesota waives Josh McRoberts.

Minnesota will send
Maxiell (1,877,572) and B.Skinner (1,262,275)
to Detroit in return for
Afflalo (1,015,400), Ager (1,042,440), Atkins (3,240,000)

with Maxiell being a PPP, I needed to use $4,375,514 as his trade value so the deal works.

Minnesota does this so they can free up future cap space. As much as we liked Max, we would rather use the money on draft picks and upcoming free agency. We like Afflalo and what he has been doing now that he is a starter in Detroit. We feal that he can be a valueable roll player for the teams future. Ager is an expiring and Atkins only has $760,000 guaranteed once he gets waived.

When we first traded Max we didn't realize we'd be in this situation. We need a backup PF and he fits the bill, Afflalo is nice but we are contending and he is the only real asset we give up. Welcome back to DET we missed you Max.

Alright, I didn't know about Solomon and I thought you had picked up Cassell and Douby earlier in the game; I guess I was mistaken.

The GS Warriors and Philadelphia 76ers have reached a trade agreement:

Philly Trades:
Raef LaFrentz $12,722,500
Linas Kleiza $1,824,493
Antonio McDyess $600,532

GS Trades:
Stephen Jackson $7,140,000
Ronny Turiaf $4,500,000
Rob Kurz $429,111
GS 2012 Second round pick

Salaries work = GS outgoing = 12,038,020
GS incoming = 15,147,525 < 12,038,020 * 1.25 + 100k

GS Accepts. We are sad to see Captain Jack go but we had to make this move to secure the long-term future of this franchise and give guys like Buike and Bellinelli more PT. We continue with our rebuilding process by also acquiring Klieza in this deal.

philly accepts upon the philly/chicago deal going through

jackson is the pefrect small forward for this team.
turiaf brings toughness at the back up 4 and 5. Klieza was a good piece but jackson was having a career year the last couple of years. good deal for both.

Minnesota and Golden State have announced a trade

Golden State will trade

Crawford (8.64)
Golden State's 2009 1st

to Minnesota in exchange for

E.Snow(7.313)
C.Brewer (2.726)
Miami's 2009 1st
Utah's 2010 1st
Rights to Pekovic

Minnesota is happy to get another lottery pick. We paid a hefty price by trading the 18th pick and a future 1st and agreeing to take on Crawford's contract. But scouts are thrillied about the draft pick

DET and PHI have a trade to announce.

Richard Hamilton $10,812,500
Renaldo Balkman $1,369,920
Sebastian Telfair $2,300,000

for

Shane Battier $6,373,900
Eduardo Najera $3,250,000
Rodney Stuckey $1,687,320

We get rip back and pay a hefty price to get him. We like a Pierce/Rip 2/3 combo a lot. We also get some bench depth.

DET and IND have a trade to announce contingent on the RIp trade going through.

Andre Iguodala $11,300,000
B.Skinner $1,262,275
2012 2nd rounder

for

Steve Nash $12,250,000
Rashad Mccants $2,620,126

We have completed our team. Nash gives us a top 5 PG and Iggy is no longer needed as we have RIp. We are done with the big trades and are set. Minor ones may occur but we feel our starting 5 has no holes, and our bench is solid.

Steve Nash/Sebastian Telfair
Rip Hamilton/Michael Finley/Rashad Mccants
Paul Pierce/Ime Udoka
David West/Jason Maxiell/Renaldo Balkman
Emeka Okafor/Matt Bonner

Ready to contend.

GSW Accept. While it hurts to loose the 8th pick, we get salary relief as well as pick up two picks, a young player in brewer and rights to pekovic to continue with our rebuilding efforts.

Indiana accepts, we hate to lose Nash who brings a veteran presence and a PG that's still Top 5 in the league, but we get younger, and another core piece towards what the Pacers are trying to build. We feel an Iggy - Granger - Amare core with a few more pieces can make the playoffs in the Eastern Conference right now while only getting better in the future.
