Denver uses their 4.6 million dollar TE (Denver--Philadelphia trade) to sign Keith Bogans (2.65m).

Don't think you can do that yet.

Yeah, I felt weird kind of posting it, messing around with the trade checker, it works as one full deal (substituting salaries for players not on roster). I'll edit it.

I'd like to cut Mardy Collins and Sean Singletary before the deal..

I assume Indiana need sto eat the $1,867,742 Mardy Collins is guarteed for 2010.

I would like to sign Mardy Collins, if I do not need to keep his 2010 salary.

Someone please tell me what his 2009 salary would be me? Is it the 1.035 mil he was getting paid, or the min ( 797,581? )

He was waived, so I am allowed to pick him up since no one else has (I looked through the entire transactions page). I just want to use him for my run into the playoffs.

The Indiana Pacers and Philly 76ers have agreed on a deal....contingent upon my other like 4 deals lol

TJ Ford $8,000,000
Jarret Jack $2,002,623
2009 BOS 1st (pick number 28)

total = $ 10,002,623

for

2009 SAS 2nd (pick number 55)
Rodney Stuckey $1,687,320
Ricky Davis $2,300,000
Bobby Brown $442,114
Rasual Butler $3,630,000

total = $ 8,059,434 x 125% plus $ 100,000 = $ 10,174,292

After my 5 deals in about 24 hours (wow) this trade should do me in until after the draft giving me a very strong 11 players with good all around defense, with a good bench. and i dont care what anyone says this team is alot better that what i started with, and doesnt include horrendous contracts of elton brand, reggie evans, or jason smith. ALso i still have good youth in Jack, JR Smith and Turiaf. Sure i made a million deals but i feel i did a damn good job. Unless i get something that will blow my socks off im done till after the draft.

TJ Ford / Jarret Jack / Eddie House
Stephen Jackson /JR Smith
Shane Battier / Eduardo Najera
Kenyon Martain / Ronny Turiaf
Marcus Camby / Kwame Brown

i also have rob kurs and juwan howard... just not in the depth chart

Not really...

Since players do not ever clear waivers in our game, you need the actual salary amount in cap space to sign players above the minimum.

So say if a team with Jason Kidd cut him, a random team can't just go and pick him up for the minimum, that team needs 20 mil in cap space in order to sign him. And once that happens, the salary is no longer on the original team.

(That was confusing)

Example

Detroit cuts Allen Iverson because they want to tank the rest of the season
Washington likes Allen Iverson
Washington needs to have 20 million in cap space, and since they do, they are now able to go and sign Allen Iverson.
Allen Iverson's contract comes off of Detroit's salary and is added onto Washingtons.

Or at least that was the way DCash had it, also it prevents teams for cutting a player in agreement for another team to instantly sign him.

Wow, sorry for that being so long

Great explanation; and that is how it works in the game; if a player is waived then you only can get him by taking on his previous contract and you need either cap space or an exception to do that.

Raef Lafrentz (EXP) $12,722,500

Philly Trades/Bulls Receive:

Elton Brand $13,757,844
Caron Butler $9,249,980
Totals: $ 23,007,824

Why for Philly....

Ive been trying to get rid of Elton Brand's deal since this game began. I finally do for expirings and the cost of Caron Butler. I get a very nice peice of work in tyrus thomas who has been much improved this year. The pick is just a throw in. We will miss Butler dearly. I wanted him from day one. Hes a great player, from my hometown. Hell, ive played with the guy myself in real life. Good dealing with you Bulls gm. Your a hard bargainer.

Minnesota agrees to this trade. As much as we are a fan of Mike, we feal we would be hurting him by keeping him on our team during this transition. This move gives him a much desrved chance to play for a contender. He is much more valuable to a team that is trying to win now. We love that this move brings us another 2011 1st rounder and $10 million more to spend either in 2009 or 2010.

How are players retired from this game?

I'd like to think that Dikembe Mutombo has a good 12 years left.

Oh crap, thought I posted I accepted hours ago, but realized I never pressed "Submit."

Indiana accepts, we get our PG of the future to add to our young core. We hate to lose Ford/Jack who might be even better fits on our team but we like the potential in Stuckey and hope he with the rest of the Pacers young core can be a contender down the line, and one that can make the playoffs in the current day.
