I agree. I don't understand why so many people think we're trading Brohm this off-season. His stock is at its lowest right now. There is no way we basically get the same value for him that the Pats got for Cassell.

I hate the idea of Oher at #9 but your mock has us taking two guys I really want in Unger and Washington. English would be a solid pick in round two. I like James Davis quite a bit. Marks is on the short side at DE in the 3-4 and is really very overrated. No way would I move Brohm right now.

For a second round pick and especially a high second rounder, i'd help pack Brohm's bags and drive him to the airport.

Me too, but a second is blatantly unrealistic. Especially this year with teams coveting second rounders.

I agree with everyone about Brohm. NO way we could get 2nd for him now. I would not give a 3rd.
Nice fantasy deal w/ Denver but I don't believe they'd do it.
So both trades are highly unlikely.
Wells by himself might fetch a 5th.

You don't have Chillar either cut or on roster.
You have blackmon at WR?

Why cut a capable Ruvell and then use a pick on a WR when we need people on entire D and OL and even TE and RB more?

I'd draft a DE before I'd pick a 2nd OL (if the guy was there).

I'd trade Brohm for a 3rd round pick so long as it's in the upper half of the third round for two reasons

1. I just don't think he's going to amount to that much given his mediocre arm and lack of mobility

2. Flynn seems like he'll be able to develop into a solid backup QB to Rodgers

I dont have Oher going 9, i have him going 12.

and this is an awful year for QB's

Brohms grade last year was 5 points higher than Freeman is, and he looks to be a 1st round pick. If a team is looking for a future starter to delelop it Brohm vs Bomar type decision.

His grade, where? One scouting service that isn't in an NFL war room actually making the picks?

I agree. I'd trade him for a 3rd in a heartbeat. I said I would not GIVE a 3rd meaning I do not believe there is a GM who would give the Pack a 3rd for him for the reason (1) you mentioned and his poor showing so far. He may (hopefully) improve but IMO no GM would go for it right now.

I wouldn't trade Brohm at this point either.

There is a decent chance that with a year in the system under his belt along with some improved confidence he might show some real positives in the pre-season this august and obviously rise his value quite a bit.Or maybe not but i'd rather take that chance than trade him for what wouldn't be much.
