They're actually developing a statistic to track how well a player gets contested rebounds (http://www.82games.com/rebounds.htm) and I'm willing to bet these statistics will reflect how poor Moore is in this area.
Listen we all know Moore isn't a good rebounder. But he is BETTER then Davis. Some basketball statistics might be sketchy but rebound rate isn't one of them.
If you want to claim that BBD is some super box out monster - prove it. You "think" that some statistic might prove this. The rest of our guys should have out of this world numbers when he is on the floor. Of course they do not.
Powe > Moore > Davis with regards to rebounding. Moore is simply taller and gets his hands on more balls because of his length. Davis SHOULD be able to make his size work for him like a Danny Fortson but he does not. Powe is shorter then Moore and smaller then Davis. But he KNOWS HOW TO REBOUND. Thus he gets more boards. Also he can get off the ground and has long arms - both of which help too.
