What can Brown do for U

Post#1 » by kevin_405 » Fri Apr 17, 2009 3:23 am

Yes Kobe , Pau and Bynum will be the key contributors but in all the games that we have lost the common factor has been poor production from Fish , Sasha and Jordan Farmar.

For sure during crucial times Sasha and Jordan Farmar the weak links will go missing, and Fish due to his age gets in foul trouble..

Last few games Shannon has been our best gaurd by far.

Do u guys think Shanon will be the X factor in the playoff that can tip us over to win it all.

yes i do.

not because he is a particularly good player. But because he is a fresh face getting minutes - when he does something good the rest of the team lifts.

especially when you look at the quality of PGs in the west

deron, CP3, chauncey, tony parker, kidd, (roy plays a lot of point)

not to mention potentially mo williams from the cavs

He definitely can be. Guards have been killing us all year & he has the defense, athleticism, strength, & jumping ability to give those guys fits. He was a steal in that trade for Vlad.

Yes. He takes care of one of our two weakest links.

I certainly hope so. As much as stars like Kobe, it's typically role players that push teams over the top on successful championship runs. We're going to need somebody, anybody, off our bench to step it up if we're going to win this thing.

i think he will. the guy looks hungry. he doesn't take plays off,he stays after it,and that's what we are going to need. i think his defense is good enough to disrupt any guard in the league, plus the guy looks strong as an ox. oh and he can jump out the building.

I like this kid, he tries very hard to fit in our rotation, much much much more quicker than Fruity pebbles, Fish and Cry Baby Farmar.
Mad hopps and plays very good D.
I seriously think he will be playing a lot more minutes than Farmar and maybe even Fish.

By the way S.T, Majic1fan, Kevin. Double E.................. Where is your sigs??? Come on guys. Rep the P&G Mangs.......

we needed a solid defender and we got just that in shannon. His scoring haven't been all that bad as well. If he can maintain that drive... he will definitely contribute tremendously. i see him getting more minutes when the post season starts.

He stronger than farmer, better defender, jumps like a muther... ill be watching him during playoff time.

If we play againts Denver, he really can help us with his defense on Chancey Billups.

Sure could be. I don't think any of us thought Ariza would be this good and important to us. Shannon is explosive just like Trevor. I'm sure we have all witnessed what kind of positive effect that explosiveness can have for the team. Having two energy guys like that is even better. We sure lacked that last year, but this year it doesn't seem like it might be a problem.

When I saw him do that in the last game against Utah, I almost went crazy. I've NEVER seen someone on the Lakers do that. He clearly wants to communicate on the floor and I love it.

this guy will be our ron harper. cluitch shooter. 6'4, not a 6'6 like harper, but pair him up with kobe and extremely dangerous up top. very smart player, and ive always loved this dudes athleticism since he was at michigan state.
