I don't know if you guys have noticed, but even during the 27-2 streak, our Celtics were not playing that championship D that they played last year. The area i've noticed this the most has been with Rondo. While you could say Rondo still gets a ton of steals and stuff, he tends to not really pressure the opposing point guard at all and often lets his man blow by him. Could it be that throughout the whole season the Celtics have been hiding their real "defensive schemes" so that teams, by the times playoffs come around, haven't developed a solution to the Celtics as they did last year by putting Kobe on Rondo? Who knows.
This sort of mentallity brings me to the KG Situation. During the NCAA Tourney, i had severe doubts that Ty Lawson was really that badly injured, and just wanted to give him some rest, or even not let some teams have that additional game to scout from. Now, although we all know KG is injured, the severity of it might be fully truthful. It could have been just a bad workout, but its hard for me to believe that he could be worse than when he played those short stints for us just a few weeks ago.
Could the Celtics possibly be hiding KG until when we truly need him? Like i said, it could be my only sense of true security that i have left, but i believe it could be true. Thoughts?

PS: Go Celtics!
