Couldn't care less how many worthless games you win in the regular season. What matters is the playoffs, and Ray is once again choking his butt off in the playoffs.

From here on out, he's no longer Ray Allen. He's Ray Allen's Contract.

Just wow.

terrible....ain't it?
Ray still got game.

Ray shouldn't have played that much and been given the opportunity to take the blame. He was just not right tonight. We should have used TA to lock up Gordon and Rose and forgotten about trying to get Ray to hit a lucky 3.

Dictionary: knee-jerk
adj. Slang.

1. Easily predictable; automatic
2. Reacting spontaneously in the expected manner

What a joke of a thread. I can't believe how quickly these sorts of threads come up on this board.

Paul Pierce is to blame for this game. His lousy free-throw shooting cost us the win. He's gotten progressively sloppier with this aspect of his game over the past year or two. It's gotten to the point where I'm happy if he makes one, because you KNOW he's going to miss the other. He makes that 2nd free throw, we win the game. Get in the gym and take some practice shots Paul.

He's been solid all year although he probably played his worst game of his life when we needed him the most.

This game we needed him the most......really....of all games....ever?????

The problem with Ray is that when his shot is off, he gives you nothing else.

Ray allen is the biggest choker of all time. Did you see how he performed in the nba finals last year? The REAL big stage? he was straight awful, we would have swept the lakers had it not been for his horrible play. What a choker.

Ray played what I would call either his worst or second worst game. He DEFINITELY deserves a large chunk of the blame for this loss. However, had the rest of the team played well, then Ray Allen's awful performance wouldn't have mattered. It's only because the whole team played like crap that everyone's pointing fingers at the Ray. To say that he's a choker is simply false. He stepped it up big time in the finals, and found his groove again during the detroit series. This thread is definitely reactionary / a rare opportunity for the Ray haters to come out from under their rocks, since Ray's been playing consistently well since last year's Detroit series.

What? You contradicted your first post with your second one. You make no sense...

Who cares, we had plenty of chances to win this game. I'm sure everyone will have their share of problems throughout the playoffs.
