Game 1

Post#1 » by bishopospurs » Sun Apr 19, 2009 5:05 am

That was disappointing :banghead: Bonner looked horrible tonight. Definitely a defensive effort he isn't going to enjoy on tape. What can we do when the Mavs bench steps up like that? TP and TD looked good, but that was absolutely it.

I think the trade for VC should've gone down like it was supposed to.

not much to be said, got nothing out of anybody except TD and Tony. They'll play like the players they are, it's everyone else that needs to step it up.
Defence needs to turn it up in game 2

The difference in the game was their bench and it was much better than ours.

I was at the game... what struck me is we just didn't stop them in the 3rd. We scored enough to win. Hey... they were better than us that game... but if anything we have learned is that this team can take a game one loss and recover.

That game was such a tease, which made me even more upset in the end. The defense was damn good to start the game. Even Fin was moving his ancient set of pins laterally.
The second half was a disgrace to basketball.

Blame Rasho, that is awesome you got to go to the game. Win or lose I wish I was still living in SA to see a game. I have to wait till they play the knicks.

I agree Saturday was a tease, I just hope they play with some real energy tonight. Other than TP and TD, there was no real movement offensively. Just old players trying to set picks as Tony drives by them then camping on the perimeter.

Here is to experience kicking in at some point.
