We'll trust your judgment, Shady. And worst case, we have somebody to blame if we lose.

I wish JR is starting. How many times will Jones trip CP3?

Hopefully he trips him 6 times a game, after all his job is to jack with the other teams best guard.

Is there a more fierce looking picture of Nene? Not that it matters, but he looks lost and confused in the current one. Don't want to jinx anything.

Melo should light Peja asset up

Who's on N.O bench. We should win that cause we deeper. Man I hope Balkman play. Petro can atleast play to provide help on rebounding and rest

I pray Karl doesnt mess this good thing up

Should be a good game, im looking forward to this, for the first time in 5 years nugs got a good chance of getting out of the first round. Melo needs to have a good shooting game and bring the defense, as he goes so does the nuggets. Im hoping billups outside shots fall, once it does it open up the lane for him and our shooters.

If jr is playing great noone on the hortnets can check him, The bench needs to bring it, since the hornets bench is thin we need to take advantage.

The stars have finally aligned for Denver.

With our propensity to get to the line, coupled with their ridiculously thin bench, there is no excuse to shoot outside of 4 feet for the series- other than JR from 3. Attack continuously, ferociously, and maliciously- dunk everything. Dont let them breath.

NO's only hope is to stay out of foul trouble and make shots. If Chandler cant stay on the court or they arent shooting well, they have no chance to win in Denver. Their home crowd might make the series last longer, but unless they are shooting lights out, while staying out of foul trouble, I dont see a way they take a game in Denver.

Lastly, Chris Paul is the best point guard in the league. He is the only thing standing in Denver's way of the second round. I hope George is going to go with his Seattle trapping defense the whole series, and get the ball out of CP3's hands as much as possible. Make him work for everything. There just isnt another guy on their team that can beat you four times other than him. And when he goes to the rim, foul him. Foul him hard. Not dirty just a good, hard NBA foul.

All that said, if Denver doesnt win both of the opening 2 games- we're in big trouble.

Man sunday cannot get here soon enough. The Can is going to be loud off the charts, I can't wait. Anyone else going to the game?

I feel like New Orleans is going to need great games out of Paul and West every night to have a chance at winning the series. They just don't have the weapons and firepower that we do. They're the one team in the West that is a worse rebounding team than we are, so thats comforting. If we defend the perimeter and don't allow their shooters to get hot, I think we can take this in six.
And with the way he's been playing lately, Jr should be able to rip their second unit to shreds.

RRFB, MHZ and Shady,

You all should get together before the game and have a RealGM bash at Brooklyn's next to the Pepsi Center. You know, for good luck. This is our year! Don't jinx it.

Maybe it's good we learned a little humility going into the first playoff game. Portland was high over their blowout win. Then suddenly they met the antithesis of Denver in the Rockets.
