I don't know why everyone thought he was washed up in the first place...

I don't think he was in good health going into the playoffs last season and he still played decent, just not up to his normal standards. He shot poorly but he had a great A/TO ratio.

Billups can still play with any other PG in the league at this point, he is probably the best playoff PG in the past ten years, aside from possibly Tony Parker.

Birdman would have been such a good pick up. Ugh.

Yeah...

I would have never thought he would have come back and been so effective so soon. He really kept himself in good shape, he must have worked his ass off while he was suspended.

Me neither. Like I said before, if Dumars wanted to bust the team up he should've traded RIp or Prince or Sheed before trading Billups. Having that standout PG is such a huge key for any team. And Billups is still one of the best in the game.

This is easily going to be the best series of the 1st round.

I thought it was going to be Hawks/Heat... But after seeing that first game it gives me some serious doubts about the Heat's ability to compete.

This is going to be a great series. Paul vs. Billups is huge.

JR Smith is always such a wild card...

That guy can either go off and completely dominate a game or will just play like a total moron and cost you possessions time and time again.

So far, as good as Paul has been, I think Billups has been better.

18 points on a ridiculous shooting percentage. He has only two assists, but he hasn't turned the ball over, has played good D and his team is winning. What an absolute steal for the Nuggets.

Ehh. The heat are really terrible to watch. I don't really like watching Wade run straight into the lane a hundred times a game. Also, watching JO's carcass is awful, along with my disdain for Haslem because everyone's man love for him over the last couple years.

+1

It has been one game and these teams already seem like they despise one another.

He has been brilliant tonight... I am still in disbelief anyone tries to justify that awful Iverson swap for him, especially when this years free agent class is so abysmal.

This year's FA class isn't really that bad. It's just not 2010.

Oh my... Chauncy is just lights out. This is maybe the best playoff game of his career and that is saying a lot considering he is one of the better big game players ever.

There are no players nearly as good as Billups in this FA class.

Dumars must be crying his eyes out right now.
