We no more have a bench...

Post#1 » by klemen4 » Tue Apr 21, 2009 2:00 am

I think we can not survive this Bulls team without the bench.

We went from good bench to this one:
MARBURY-he is lost,frightened...Doc cant trust him
HOUSE-our only sub, bot is not hitting shots
T.ALLEN-Doc has no faith in Allen also one of Pierce, Ray must play to stay competitive with 2 unit so there is no room for him
POWE-probably again out, no substitution...we are left with 3 big man
BABY-KG injury, Baby goes to pf...we must play Moore as C who is terrible

Doc has to find a way to involve bench and combo Marbury-House must step up.

Yeah. Powe Fan. Too bad he may be out. We really need him out there for his post presence on the 2nd unit. Hopefully he stays healthy because if the bigs get in foul trouble we would have to go small. I think the starters may be worn out in the next series as well. Should be tough but fight to prevail!

Should have played Tony to cool off Gordon. While Ray played amazingly on offense, he still gave up 42 to Gordon. And never ever ever put Mikki in the game. -17 tonight.

I just dont think Steph had enough time to get ready for the playoffs, i really hope we can keep him around so he gets a training camp and a full season

the bench has been bad though, losing KG obviously hurts because baby would be on the bench aswell.. but yeh, house and steph need to step up, even just 5-6 points from each of them would help

and TA... well i dont know what doc is doing, Ben Gordon was killing us tonight, and especially that last shot he hit out of the time out, Tony should have been on

I hope House's disappearance proves short this time. Those were some awful misses.

Eddie needs more shots and time. He will be fine. TA needs more time and he will be fine too. Marbury and Mikki just look horrible. I wish Scal could come back this next game...

I wasn't very happy that we ended up with Moore instead of Smith this year. We needed an extra big then, and we still need one (or two). Glad to see Perk and Baby playing so well, and also staying out of foul trouble in the second half tonight. It may be a different story in Chicago though. Really hoping Powe can get back healthy on the extra day rest.

As for Marbury, people are saying he is washed up and won't do anything, but I'm still holding out for him to have a break out game. I really do think he's on the cusp of doing something; just need to hit a couple of shots in a row, maybe get to the cup a few times, maybe get knocked to the floor, a little pissed off or something. He's got to be a contributor in the playoffs, let's see if he can get a fire lit in Chicago.

I think it's time to go small. Powe would be in trouble against Thomas/Noah/Miller anyway, they're too big/athletic.

Nice jam by Drew Gooden, man he'd be an upgrade over Moore.
screw it, if KG is out, then this is the proper time for everything else to go wrong since it doesn't matter much.

TA is a good sub off the bench for ray or PP. he needs to play 15 mins a game to spell PP and RA.

Steph is like a little boy being thrown into WWII. he is totaly not ready.

I think Scal is going to be comming back now that Powe is done.

the bench has to be Scal, TA, and House.

throw Moore in there ONLY when height is a problem.

I actually wouldn't mind experimenting with Bill Walker at the 4.

Dude I think POB might have been better than Mikki. POB has the same foul problem, but at least he can block some shots.

If House isn't making shots there is no reason to play him over TA especially with Marbury. To be fair Eddie was hustling he wasn't terrible but I think the Bulls are too long on the perimeter for Eddie and Steph unless they are putting in work.

Moore is not good, I mean he has me excited about the idea of Scal coming back. I new his limitations but he is also not the brightest guy on the court either. He is who he is but ...

But the Bulls bigs are soft as hell and they are killing us athletically this team has someone who can jump out the gym and spits nails rookie or not desperate times call for ....

Just remember to draft a big in June or sign a reliable veteran.

The bench isn't that bad...The problem is that when you're first big off the bench is starting, it throws your whole rotation out of whack.

I do agree that the lack of a real center really hurts.

Yeah Sheed would be a huge help. From the looks of it, we can probably get him over the summer and keep Marbs.
