Tony Allen

Why didn't he play more? He is logical guy to play SF when Paul moves to PF. Is he still hurt? He usually does a decent job on Ben Gordon too.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

I do think TA should get minutes, but I don't think Paul will necessarily go to the 4 at all. Scal is supposed to come back next game.

Guys remember. Scal cannot play physical. He probably can't play physical for the rest of his career.

Can we get him a helmet? Tell me that wouldn't be the funniest thing to ever grace an NBA court.

I actually thought about that. It would be a smart thing to do...

Something like this would do the trick...

I think Doc needs to give Tony some minutes to play some defense on Gordon. He was playing well the last couple weeks of the season so not sure what Doc is afraid of. Play the guy and see if we see the "good" TA or the "bad" TA. If it is the good TA, then he can be a very dynamic player when he's playing well and could help you win a game, because he can wreak havoc on the defensive end... just what the Celtics need right now. I think it would be a mistake for Doc not to play him.

I agree with OP. TA should get more minutes, especially guarding Gordon. TA will definitely give him a lot of trouble with his athleticism and quickness. But if the game is close and we need the score, you have to go with Ray, unless we're going ultra small with Paul at the 4...
