Just saw the news.... Wow... this team is cursed. Once again, the POB signing is KILLING this team.

Sorry to hear that guys. Do you now expect to see a lot of Paul Pierce at the 4? How do you think that effects your rebounding over the length of the game?

Damn. This sucks for Leon and the team on so many levels. Awful thing to happen going into contract negotiation time, we have no bigs, and he is a great person.
Luckily, Scal was scheduled to come back for game 3 to begin with. We will really need him now.

Celtics are now relying on a 2 man front court in Chicago we really need to slow it down and execute in half court sets. Rondo has to slow down the pace unfortunately.

You'll have to forgive Danny. Despite winning a championship with vets last year, he just can't get over his love of babies.

This sucks, I feel bad for Leon and the Cs. You guys think SkyWalker will get some PT?

Re: Powe expected to have surgery, done for season
We can go small in this series, the Bulls are only playing Noah and Miller with Thomas who is long but not exactly a physical presence anyhow, we almost have to go small to match up. As it is we are giving up open looks to control the glass which normally I would agree with but you have to make them miss. I think leaving TA out of the rotation is a mistake and this team needs something out of Steph, House, and Allen (or possibly Walker to get out of this series).
So sad for Leon the works too hard for the breaks he gets.
Ainge must be loving this series it is all guard play and shot making on both ends with one front court just decimated and the other tissue paper soft.

It's a torn ACL. Feel so bad for Leon, especially this happening when he was coming into free agency and about to land a good contract.

I think against a team you needed a last second contested three to beat despite 21 offensive rebounds at home, small ball might be the worst thing for you unfortunately. Of course, when Moore is your other option...maybe not. The problem with Moore is that he's neither bigger or quicker than our big men. That's been the interesting contrast down low: girth v. speed. In game 1, speed won out, game 2, girth won out.
It should be noted that the other problem with Moore is that he, well, sucks.

Wow torn ACL? Does anyone have a clip of the play? Did he get hit or was it a normal bball move?

The other guys will get the minutes and we'll see what they have to bring. I guess next season we'll be able to sign BBD and Powe both now. Series is tied. No need to panic.
Play ball.

Play ball.

Sorry to hear this fellas, you never want to see a player go down. Hopefully Moore can play like an NBA player.

Looks like we're stuck with BBD now.

Re: Powe expected to have surgery, done for season
Thank god Perk and BBD are both young'uns, they are going to see some serious minutes (until Bennett Salvatore refs, he'll get them some forced rest). Yes CellarDoor, we are aware the Mikki, well, sucking is a bit of a problem
. He was much better facing off against Arnold Schwarzenneger in Predator. I think some small ball is in our future, I'd rather see Tony Allen on the floor and PP playing PF than Mikki being in there for 10 min, we were -17 in game 2 with Mikki on the floor... in 11 mins! +/- is bit misleading, but I think it's not irrelevant in this case either. Why on earth Mikki goes for steals on a guard under the basket instead of trying to block shots is beyond me, it hurts my head even thinking about it.
