Yeah it's not bad, I agree, but that's how it started versus the B's, and it just got worse and worse.

I didn't care for what Ott was doing in Boston. This instant just adds more to his resume. I don't care for his jack-a$$ attitude.

no offense guys, but the bruins broadcaster was very unprofessional during that entire incident. He may have been right, but he was very biased, and i know this guy is known for that. Kypreos has said the same thing about him, he just seems like a glorified fan a lot of the time. I do not approve of him :P

I absolutely hate that Boston announcer... he is honestly the worst announcer I have ever had the misfortune of listening to. Unbelievable really.

OTT is still a douche, but he does his job well... as does Avery.

Its the bruins broadcast, Im glad they are biased. Tommy Heinson gets the same treatment for the celtics. They are fans and I totally agree with their bias. They excite Bruin fans, which is their job. The broadcasters bleed the green for the celtics and bleed black and gold for the Bruins. To me that's the way it should be.

I understand that there are fans of the other teams watching the same Boston broadcast, but the number of hometown fans outweighs the fans for the opposing team, which to me gives the broadcasters the right to be biased.

it would piss me off if they weren't biased. I want my broadcast to be Bruin/Celtic fans not neutral watchers. The game would be less exciting. This is why I hate national broadcast games. The game is less exciting.

Thats just the way I see it though and I know its just because I bleed those same colors.

Personally, I was a Dale Arnold fan, so I was upset when they replaced him with Jack Edwards. And I agree he takes it over the top.

But I hafta agree with Dakid, I want my announcers being some what homers. Especially the play by play guy. Andy Brickley is overlooked, he is one of the best color commentators in the game IMO. You can hear him on versus a lot.

Dale was good too. I think Jack does a very good job though. He is very exciting and says some very funny things.

I'm not either I just mean that I am used to an somewhat unbiased broadcast because they aren't trying to sell the game to the people of Toronto rather than anywhere in the states they are competeing so much with the other sports that they hafta go that extra biasness to sell that team to the fans

Ok I know what you mean now. And I totally see what your saying. I do agree that here in the States there is such a wide range of choice of sports. Just look at Boston, here you have to compete with ratings between the Celtics, Red Sox, Bruins, and Patriots. You have to sell your sport in a way.

I do like his child like excitement though. Jack Edwards, not Ott. There is a promo on nesn where he is screaming at a Jimmy Fund patient in the booth after a goal is scored. "CAN YOU FEEL THE MAGIC TONIGHT!!!" And the child has this big bright smile on his/her face. Almost as big as jack's. :D
